The classic Plexistar 2™ is the sporty version of the Plexifairing. The cut of the Plexistar 2 is a bit larger around the headlight opening and the extended lowers are shorter. It's a favorite fairing for year-round riding and for many riders who require good upper chest and hand protection. A wide range of fitments are available for specific models to assure a superior fit. Available for most motorcycles.

  • High impact acrylic.
  • DOT approved.
  • The Plexistar 2 increases ventilation while providing upper chest and hand protection.
  • This easy-to-install and easy-to-remove fairing is a favorite among many riders.
  • No-Hole Ballsocket™, QuickSet™ System; all hardware included.
  • Note: For mounting on 1-inch handlebars, you must also purchase the National Cycle Quickset Mount for 1 Inch Handlebars (sold separately).

Acrylic: Includes brand names such as ICI Lucite® and Acrylite®. Acrylic is known for its crystal clarity that stands the test of time with UV stabilization that prevents yellowing. Many years ago, during the development of the clear fairing, National Cycle found that ordinary drill mounting methods caused stress cracks and eventual breakage of acrylic shields. That's why they developed and use their patented No-Hole Ballsocket™ system on all of their acrylic products.

QuickSet™ Hardware: This patented hardware is designed for durability, ease of installation and hassle-free removal. Permits 10-second windshield removal, and fairing removal in under one minute. The QuickSet system incorporates the No-Hole Ballsocket™.

The best for the money

The quality of the windshield is very good. The design and function is very good, however the one size fits all is not so good. I had to pay extra for 1 inch handlebar clamps because it came with only 7/8 inch clamps. The bottom edge of the windshield sits about 6 inches above my headlight which allows a lot of wind through.

In spite of the negatives it still seems to be the best option for the money. It has stopped most of the wind and is quieter than the last windshield that I had. Knowing what I know now I would still recommend this product.
