Good rear Tire

This is a great tire for those looking to do mx and get lots of traction but not wanting to spend the extra money for the razr Xm's. This tire has a slightly harder compound than the xm but still provides plenty of traction and is really easy to install especially if you have bead lock wheels

Great tire for the Price

Bought these tires because they were cheap, didnt think they would last but they held up pretty good. Overall good tire, I like the holeshot tires too but those suck going through mud or water, these are a little better when it comes to that but i would purchase again. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO BELOW TO SEE THE TIRES IN ACTION. Thanks

Maxxis Razr Tire

These were the first tires I have purchased for my quad, and I probably will only buy Maxxis in the future. The tires were more than I expected. The agressive tread pattern on the tires give excellent grip when you need to go quickly, yet flexible enough to allow you to slide in turns enough to stay in the race. These tires are worth every penny that you pay! Definitely would recommend these tires to anyone wanting a quality tire for their quad.

How bad do these wear on black top?
MotoSport Staff
Over 10 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
These are going to wear extremely fast on blacktop as they are specifically designed to be ridden off road. The compound of the rubber is much to soft and the lug spacing is too wide for them to have a any sort of a decent lifespan on blacktop. If you are looking for a a more road oriented tire, look at the Kenda Road Go or Speed Racer tires. These are designed to be much more durable on hard surfaces such as concrete and blacktop, due to a better compound and tread arrangement geared towards hard terrain riding.

How would these perform on trails?
i ride both trails and track conditions. I rode tires very similar to these in a grassy field with some loose sand in spots and they seems to turn very quick compared to regular razrs.
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 years ago Location: Portland, OR
These are mainly designed for mx style condition, the front are a 2 ply and the rears are a 4ply and normally with trails your going to want a 6ply tire just because riding trails your more prone to get a puncture flat. But as far as maintaining grip on the trails they should do just fine.
Probally an ok tire for you, but id recommed a tuffer tire. Like it says it an "MX" tire.

Yes these tires are just what you want then, Maxxis really hit the mark on these tires
