Q: Can I use dot 3 or dot 4 instead of dot 5.1?

A: I would stick with what your owners/service manual suggests. Most dot 4 systems can use dot 5.1 but not all dot 5.1 systems can use dot 4 (most KTM motorcycles require dot 5.1).

A: Unfortunately I do not have the specifications for this model ATV. Typically the brake fluid type is stamped in the cap of the master cylinder where you would add the fluid. If it is not there you will need to try and contact the manufacturer or a dealership that sells these ATV's.
