  • Motion Pro has been dedicated to producing quality products that will improve your motorcycles performance and the T2 clutch cable was designed to do just that.
  • The Motion Pro T2 clutch cable is an upgrade to the OEM or any basic clutch cables with its unique cable housing.
  • The T2 gray clutch cable features a longitudinally-wound housing which resists compression under heavy loads.
  • The reduced compression provides a precise non-mushy clutch feel.
  • To further smooth out the clutch cable operation the T2 is lined with polyethylene.
  • Motion Pro builds each T2 clutch cable to match OEM dimensions for a perfect fit every time.

Smooth Pull

I've been running this cable for over a year now and it has yet to fray. I coupled this with a PEP EZ-Pull clutch lever and the action is very smooth. I'm not sure what others are doing to wear these out so quickly but I have all the dust boots in place to keep dirt and dust from entering the cable at any point and I have yet to have a problem.

Not any better than the regular cable

I bought one of these for my KX250. The pull was just the same, not any smoother. It barely made it 6 months. I just went to lube it before my trip to the dunes tomorrow, 3 of the 6 strands are broke....GRRRR!

So Far So Good

Its hard to buy from a picture vs having it in hand. However, so far the cable operates smooth and the way it should. Put the cable on and went riding in the mountains the next day. When we finished my whole bike was a sheet of ice. No problem then and No problem after it thawed out.

Will this fit a 2003 yamaha blaster? if so then does it also work for a 05 raptor 660?

MotoSportExpert
Yes this Motion Pro T2 Clutch Cable will fit your 2003 Yamaha Blaster. it would not be the same cable for the 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your ATV before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct cable for your ATV. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Cable lube?
Does the cable come pre lubed or do u have to lube it yourself. Motion pro mentions that the regular one doesn't come pre lubed but I was curious about the T2

Where can I find the bracket that bolts onto the top of the clutch cover that the cable feeds through?

MotoSportExpert
I would need to know what model machine you have to look that up for you. But you should be able to find that in the OEM parts section under your year/make/model. Usually found under crankcase or crankcase cover.

Will this fit?
I have a 2010 YFZ450X and I would like to know if this cable will fit. I checked on motion pro website and they do not show this cable as fitting.

These are sold by the application. Meaning you input your bikes make/model/year and we sell you the correct cables. We don't have custom cables, which sounds like you need done.

What is the difference between this and a standard clutch cable?
MotoSport Staff Expert
james718
The T2 Cable has a thicker housing and cable for longevity. The standard Motion Pro cable would be a direct OEM style replacement.

These have a different lining in them to make them have a smoother feel. I however didnt notice the difference from my stock cable
