Why didn't i think of that

how many filter wrenches do you have, or had, or tried?

when you can't get one off, do your huge channel locks always fit

what a great tool

I bought this product because it seemed the best in terms of flexibility and purpose. It's a simple design and easy to understand how it works but it didn't for me. i tried numerous attempts to try to pry my oil filter off--different angles, extensions, changing directions (just to see if it was budging), then finally the breaker bar. i used enough torque to dent the previous oil filter, i know i was getting a little irritated. finally gave up before i destroyed the thing and went to the car shop to just get a oil filter wrench attachment. although it didnt work for my oil filter but because of its design, i THINK i will find it useful still to pry open circular objects.

Does what it should.

I bought this for my street bike. The oil filter on it is almost impossible to get to because of the small space it fits into. This strap wrench went on easy and made it super easy to remove the oil filter with.
I have always used a standard oil filter wrench to remove the filter with, but if space is a concern this thing does the trick.

A: It's just the strap with a socket attached to it.

A: It's just the strap. the cylinder is supposed to represent your oil filter. it works by wrapping the strap around the filter (it's a larger radius than a oil filter) then turning the attachment, twisting the strap tighter and tighter until you get a firm grip.
