Trail savior

Perfect for replacing a o ring master link out on the trail. Small enough to fit in a camelback or tool pouch.

It gets the job done

For 9 bucks it's worth it. Obviously your not buying a super nice piece of machinery for 9 bucks lol but it works as it should and is very small so perfect to throw in your tool bag out on the trails

Does the job

Tool worked as intended! The tool did, however, favor one side. I fixed that easily by pressing partway in one orientation then rotating the tool 180° to finish.

My Mistake

I ordered this thinking it was a chain breaker. It was my stupidity not fully reading what I was buying.

That being said I didn’t find this tool that useful. Its sole purpose is to press the side plate to the master link. I personally never had that much difficulty with any of my chains to need this tool.

It does its purpose, but wasn’t what I needed.

This was a good tool for the money i would recommend this to anyone.

Q: Can I use this on a chainsaw chain and do you sell the links for that?

I took a link out and now I need to put it back together.

A: No, we do not sell chainsaw links and this press would likely not work on a chainsaw chain. Fits most 520 and 530 standard and O-ring chains.
