Clutch cable

The cable was super easy to install with only basic tools and it works great. The smoothness has gone down a little bit since I put it on but some lube would fix that. Good product.

Great buy!!!!

Fit perfect on my 97 CR250. Long live the 2 stroke! Kidding, but seriously guys, if you're questioning buying the cable just do it. It was up there with top 5 upgrades I've done on my bike. I thought my clutch was too stiff, turned out the cable was stiff. Threw this on in a solid 2 minutes and off I went with a completely new bike.

Complete waste of time and money

Purchased this for a 2011 kx250f. Motion Pro (for some reason) puts the cable adjustment about 2 feet away from the perch making it impossible to adjust the cable while sitting on the bike. If you're running radiator guards it means you more or less have to disassemble the front left side of the bike to adjust it. Not even close to worth the $10 savings over OEM.

Good for not alot of Money.

Got this when my oem cable broke on my 09 KX250F still holding up and looks new. Really smooth pull. only con is that the rubber piece on the bottom of the cable that goes through the mount in the case is a pain to get on.

Motion Pro Clutch Cable

I bought Motion Pro clutch cables for all 5 of my bikes 3 years ago and they have held up great. They still feel and work like they did when they were new. Great Durability and can't beat that price.

I need longer cables for more 2008 kfx450r?
I have a Houser Racing steering stem with risers on my atv but my handle bars with the risers have rised about 6 inches and now my stock cables for my throttle and clutch will not fit properly on the bike because they are too short. Is there a such thing as extended cables?

Is my 2004 kx125 clutch cable fitment on the engine side right?
The stock cable has flanged end that sits on top of a rubber grommet. The Motion pro cable does not have this but does appear to have an o-ring that sits in place of the stock rubber grommet. So does the stock rubber grommet get removed? does the cable end sit on top of this grommet? because it doesn't fit inside the stock grommet but when the grommet is removed it seems to loose like theres no seal to keep dirt out of the engine.

Clutch cable is too long?
Hi, I have a 93 YZ250 restoration project. We replaced the clutch cable, complete Wiseco clutch basket, clutch push rod, clutch push lever, and new bearing that sits at the end of the clutch push rod. I just double checked my assembly last night and counted the clutch and friction plates. Still, the clutch cable is too long by about an inch. Any ideas? Jim

How do i replace my clutch cable?
i have a 1998 suzuki rm 125 and the clutch cable just snapped. i see the cable goes in the left side of the motor but the clutch is on the right side. How do i replace the cable?

Clutch cable replacement on your 1998 Suzuki RM125 is a fairly simple process. Simply disconnecting the cable at each end, and routing the cable the same way the old cable comes out. I would recommend referring to a service manual.

Does this cable make it easier to pull the clutch in?
The clutch on my 2008 LTZ400 is super hard to pull in. I can pull in the clutch with 2 fingers with more than decent effort. When I wheelie, I need to have 1 finger on the clutch so i can control the ATVs balance point. The problem is, I can't pull in the clutch with just one finger. So will this cable allow me to do so?

Generally the first place I recommend starting when dealing with a stiff clutch pull is lubing or replacing the clutch cable. It is likely this will help with the problem.
