Very Nice!

Bought the PW 50 training wheels for my grandsons new bike. Received them in 3 days and my son said they were a breeze to install and my grandson is thrilled. Hopefully it won't be long and he'll be going without them. A very good purchase!

Sturdy training wheels

This is a very sturdy piece! Bought it for my sons Honda crf-50! It's a bolt on piece that takes some time to install by removing foot peg bolts! Would be better if it were a quick connect piece, there is another brand out there that attaches around the foot pegs with a longer pin making it easy to remove and install! It was a perfect fit tho for my bike!

Great purchase !!!!!

We went from thinking oh my we just wasted all this money on a dirt bike that he can't ride ( since he can't ride an actual pedal bike yet) to him riding by us yelling "best birthday ever!!!!!" He would ride for hours now if we'd let him. Gave him the courage he needed to ride alone, dads knees were getting tired of running alongside ! Great product!!

Moose training wheels

Just what I was looking for the sons first bike. Easy to mount. Although I ran into a bit of a hassle with the spacers that were provided. Luckly the bike had previously had traing wheels & the owner had left them mounted so I made away with using those. Disappointed there, but very satisfied with the rest. Seems well made. I would recommend for beginners!

It gave my five year the confidence to ride by himself. What more can you ask for.

Great product

Easy install and my son is having a great time. Very stable and it is alowing him to learn the basics of throttle control and braking. Great product.

I want to give this bike to my son for Christmas but he is about the age of a 7 year old boy although he's only 5 he is tall and weights about 50 lbs pounds, will this bike be too little for him or is that a good size? Please help .....

A: This would be for the Moose Training Wheels only (show on a Yamaha TTR50).

A: Jackie, My grandson is 4 and the PW50 is about right for him and even slightly on the tall side right now. If your son is pretty tall already you may consider an 80ish size. The 50 would probably be great to start but it's a lot of money for him to outgrow in a year or 2.
Q: Where does it mount exactly? On the engine or frame?

A: Depending on which model bike they are odered for the Moose Training Wheels will mount to either the engine case or the footpeg brackets.
The CRF50/XR50, JR50 and TTR50 mounts to the engine case, not the footpeg brackets.
Q: TTR50 and PW50?
1 year 6 months ago
Well the same model that came off a TTR50 fit on a PW50?

A: No they would be different. The TTR50 training wheels mount to the engine cases not the footpeg bracket.

A: These sit low enough, that as long as the brake is adjusted properly, it will not interfere with operation.
