Air and bubbles!

Perhaps it is just me, but I had very little luck with this product. Getting a seal on the nipple seems to be the trick, but I was never able to eliminate pulling air instead of fluid using everything from safety wire to different tubing. Primary use was to bleed clutch and brake lines. I threw it in the toolbox and went back to doing it the old fashion way! Just could not get it to pull fluid...

Decent hand vacuum

I bought this vacuum bleeder for use at home and in the shop. By looking at the picture I thought it was going to be made out of metal but its actually made from plastic that almost feels like it could eventually break with professional use. I do expect it to last a few years though.
As far as the vacuum and the accessories, they work perfectly. Holds vacuum and does bleed brakes very nice.
Little tip, rub grease around the bleeder on the caliper to make sure you have a true vacuum and not pulling air through the threads of the bleeder

Works well

This tool is especially useful when you are bleeding a dry brake/clutch system, it saves hours of pumping your lever to get fluid through new lines for the first time.

One piece of advice - make sure the threads on your bleeders have some sort of sealant on them. This tool can suck air through the threads of the bleeder which show up as small bubbles in the tube, if it is enough it can make it hard to pull a vacuum.

Helped with bleeding brakes

It is possible to bleed them without this, but this makes it so much easier if you use it. The hose they give may be a little long, I cut mine to make it easier, but after installing SS lines, this made the bleeding a breeze.

The mighty pump

For someone who has never bleed brakes before, it worked! Now my crf450r has it's back brakes again. I feel safer knowing I can stop when I need to (4-5 gear), control my speed down steep hills, and do technical stuff offroad.

Brake bleeder

Even though i gave the bleer a poor rating it made my job easy. What i didnt like was that the pin that holds the arm together kept falling out. It would fall out at the wrong time and then was hard to find.

A: I cannot say for certain that it would or wouldn't work on cars. I would imagine that it would work the same way on any hydraulic brake system whether it be a motorcycle or car. I would say you would want to make sure the tubing size would work on the bleeder valves on your brakes as that is really the only part that attaches to the braking system.

A: I know for a fact this tool will work on cars. At our shop we use this as well as a professional brake fluid flush machine. Both run off of vacuum to pull the fluid through the lines. It helps to rub some grease around the bleeder valve on the caliper to ensure a full and true vacuum.
