Great tires

Put the tires on the bike so far performing great. Handled good in the curves and on the back roads. So far the little bit of rain I rain I Road in they seem to handle the rain well. Now if I get the mileage out of that they say I will . They will be a great deal. Motorsports.com delivered um quick and on time at a great price I will be doing more business with them in the future.

We will see!!

Just installed these tires. Haven't put enough miles on them to really have a opinion.
Bought them because I was told they ride smoother and last for 18,000 plus miles

Best handling highest mileage tire period!

This is my second set of MC2's. First set lasted 23k miles and this last set lasted 24k miles. Motosport had an excellent cyber Monday deal on the set that I couldn't pass up. Shipping took just a couple of days.
Now my tuffest decision will be what to spend my customer cash on!

Michelin Commander II Motorcycle Tire Combo

I just put the new tires on my bike last week and took a 400 mile motorcycle ride. It rode like a different bike. I have always been a Michelin person for my personal vehicle and was happy that they had started to offer them for my bike but was disappointed that it took so long to get the rear tire which was supposed to be available in June but I didn't receive until October 19th. I wish they had it available in the 200/55 R18.

Michelin Commander ll front tires

Just purchased two new tires. Front and rear.

I had both front and rear replaced 9,236 miles ago. I will need a new rear tire soon. The front tire has at least 1,000 more miles left on it,
They wear well and are solid in the rain. They hold their round profile longer than other tires I've had and thus corner better. I run them a couple pounds hard on air.pressure.

Michelin Commander ll Rear Tire

I use these on my Yamaha Venture and like them more than the Metzler 880 that I was using. These Michelins seem to hold their profile longer and thus corner better. I run them a little on the hard side.
I have 9,236 mi on the rear and I will need to replace it soon. The front has the same milage but is good for at least another thousand miles.

Best Bike tires ever.

I purchased these tires after only buying the Harley Davidson Dunlop tires for my 04 Dyna FXDI. I didn't know what I was missing by using only the Dunlops all these years. These Michelins are great I have never been able to go into corners with so much control and comfort. I just hope they last longer than the Dunlops.

Awesome delivery !!!

Motor Sports Ship and delivered tires very fast. I put them on my motorcycle and what a difference. I have ran Dunlaps for years, But not no more !!!

Jeff Verified Purchaser

I like them a lot so far. The only thing I didn't like was when they were first put on, it constantly felt like I was going to slip as I was turning. But to get rid of it I just made lots of turns and snake motions while I was riding.

Commander II combo

Good pricing. fast shipping. Could not give more info on durability as ive only put on 300 miles, pleased with how they look, performance is average, twisting the throttle spins the rear tire, the old dunlops didn't spin so easy, hoping they will get better as they wear in!! Slick in rain!!

Great Handling AND Durability

I purchased a set of these for my HD FXDC in Februay 1015 replacing the original OEM Dunlops that had 8000 miles on them. The rear tire was almost slick when they were replaced. The improvement in both low and high speed stability and grip was huge. No more front tire shifting on cracks and tar snakes and the grip on corners is excellent.
I now have 10,000 miles on these tires and based on current tire depth on both of them I expect I will get at least another 10,000 before I'll have to even consider replacing them. Great tires for the money. And Motosports order/delivery process was flawless.

Great tires

Spooned these on to my 14 ultra classic right before my ride to the tail of the dragon instantly noticed improved ride quality over stock. By the time I got there I had more than enough confidence to attack the tail. Now I have to touch up some hard parts that I was able to drag at the tail

Q: Fitment?
3 months 13 days ago
Hi, My wheel 15x3.5 my stock tire 140/75/15 I like to install wider tire 170/80/15 on my Harley street 750. Will it fit? I check your recommend 3.5 - 4.0

A: Going from a 140/75 to a 170/80 is a big difference, you will need to measure your fender and swingarm to see if you can accommodate a tire that is 30mm (1.2 inches) wider and 5mm (0.2 inches) taller.

A: For clearance and handling we recommend that you run the stock size tires. From what I can find your 1981 FXWG came stock with a MT90-16 (130/90).

A: The Front Tire size for your bike in this combo would be a 130/90-16. The Rear Tire size would be a 140/90-16 but you may be able to go up to a 150/80-16 if you have enough clearance around your drive belt and swingarm area to fit a wider tire.

A: The Michelin Commander 2's or the Metzeler ME880's are both very popular and very good cruiser tires. They handle very well and you will get some of the best mileage out there from these tires.
