Does the factory exhaust slip off, or does it have to be cut?
Are there installation instructions available on line that I can review first?

Normally yes, the mid pipe and muffler will slip-off of the head pipe on most vehicles. If your muffler and midpipe are not removable then more than likely this exhaust system will not fit your bike. I would need to know what bike you have to find the installation instructions for you.

Installation?
Having little mechanical ability is this something easily installed once removing the stock pipe?

Yes, this would be a direct replacement for the stock exhaust. Installation really be no more difficult than removing and installing the stock exhaust. The mounting for the muffler is slightly different in the fact that this will use a band wrapped around the muffler for the mounting bracket and will need to be located properly. Keep in mind when modifying the exhaust system that changes to fuel injection mapping may be required for the bike to run properly. These changes can be made with a fuel programmer such as the Power Commanders.
