Cool piece of CF

I only rated this a 4 just because it feels a little flimsy. However, this is the second one I've purchased (on 2 different bikes) and do not have any complaints. The first I had on a YZF426 and it never failed me so I bought another for my YZF450. Although it feels flimsy, it has never let me down in protection from rocks and it looks bad a** with the other Light Speed CF peices that I have purchased (skid plate, chain block, front brake disc cover, rear brake and rotor). Saves a little weight and looks and performs great!

Not bad

better than nothing but i was affraid i might break it outting it on and the holes did not line up with my 06 crf250r quite right but i put the bolts though it and my metal case saver and then screwed them in that way. looks cool though

DONT waste your money

When I got it it didn't fit right and I had to engineer some spacers and it still cracked. Maybe worth $10 NOT $40.

Bad quality

Part was paper thin c/f and lots of defects in the c/f. Did not fit my bike at all. Returned part.

Carbon Simplicity

First, the look is awesome. Second, the look is surpassed only by it's simplicity and design. And it does exactly what it was designed to do with basically no gain in weight. Would not consider enduro's or trails without it...
