Kibblewhite Exhaust Valve

Product Description

Kibblewhite exhaust valves are a great upgrade from your O.E.M. motorcycle valves due to their superior performance and outstanding reliability.

All KPMI Black Diamond™ stainless steel valves are impregnated by a special German process to a depth of 0.002", with a surface build up of 0.0002". This "Black Diamond™" process improves wear properties, reduces friction, and provides resistance to corrosion and wear that is superior to chrome and nickel electrolysis plating. Each valve is designed using Finite Element Analysis software, and profiles are tested on Kibblewhite's computerized flow bench. Black Diamond™ Valves are light, strong, one-piece forgings with profiles that provide excellent flow characteristics and will outlast titanium valves.

Detailed Specifications:

Great for the Price

Installation was tricky, being my first time and not having the right tools. Works great, starts and runs better then old valves. Would reccomend to someone with titanium valves.

Great replacement valve

I have been recommending kibblewhite valves to anyone that has a fourstroke, especially honda's with their valve issues. using the stainless valves with the kibblewhite spring kit makes the bikes dependable, with no power loss. Easy to install.

Do they need to be lapped in or can you just install them ?

These should come ready to install. Kibblewhite does not recommend lapping the valves before installation.

07 vs 08?
I have some 07 of these valves. Would I be able to put them in my 08 crf250r? I dont think that they changed from those years but I wanted to make sure. because I need to save money. Thanks

If you are looking to reuse your valves to save money it might come back to bite you in the long run. OEM part numbers are the same from 07-08, but Kibblewhite lists different part numbers so basing it off of that, I would say dont use the 07 valves in your 08.

Can you use stock valves with the kibble white spring kit???
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Kibblewhite recommends you run their valves with their springs and vice-versa.
Harry525 Over 4 years ago
What are the dimensions for this valve? Do you have a KPMI part number for this item?

This question is difficult to answer without knowing what kind of bike/atv it's for.

Spring kit(s)?
do you need a kit per intake and exhaust valve set or does the kit include springs for both?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
You would only need to purchase one Kibblewhite valve spring kit. They include the intake and exhaust valve springs.
1 year ago Location: wellsburg,ny
i bought the spring kit and it came with all springs for both intake and exhaust valves
snipsta35 Over 5 years ago Location: Lewes, DE
Are these a direct replacement or do I have to get some machining done to my motor for them to fit?
Expert MotoSport Staff
These would require the head to be machined out to accommodate the oversized valve.
ryan164 Over 5 years ago
Does it come with all the exhaust valves?
MotoSport Staff Expert
These are sold individually.

Valve spring kit?
do you really need the kibblewhite valve spring kit for use with the kibblewhite intake and exhaust valves? or can you just buy the intake and exhaust valves and use oem springs and retainers?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 years ago Location: Portland, OR
The Kibblewhite valves are a stainless valve so you would have to run a heavier duty spring than stock or else your valves will float. So yes, it's highly recommend to pick up the Kibblewhite spring kit.
