Awesome tire for the price!

Had them put on and the next week we went to Caledonia. The guy at the tire shop said they were a little hard to get on, possibly from the shipping squishing them into the box..? They performed great! Enough to shoot some mud up but not tear everything up and preserve the trails. Went through big mud holes that the 4x4 atvs were going through, mine is 2wheel, and had no problems. Great tire for the price! I'd recommend it to anybody!

Excellent Tires

I mainly do off-road. After several days and hours of reviewing tires , I finally settled for these. Tires bite good enough to get you out of mud but give enough for when you need to drift the back end. I am very pleased with this set of tires. So far they wear evenly and hold up to rocks and other off-road hazards great. As long as these tires are manufactured , these will be the only tires I run on my 2001 yamaha warrior and I will only by them from MOTOSPORT!

Good looking, great price, fast service

I bought a set of four tires for my 2000 Scrambler 400 that my grandkids ride. It was important that I have good equipment for them. I ride on Holeshot tires for my own ATV and really liked the tread pattern. This pattern is very similiar and equally effective. I was surprised to find that I could mount the tire in either direction and thereby have a effective tread pattern for the choice of either trail or sand. As we ride both it will be nice to be able to take advantage of this flexibility. My riding buddy has an ATV for his grandson and it came with the Klaw as OEM . It was fun to share evaluations of the tires. He was as happy with his tires and I am with mine. I am very happy with the purchase.

Misfit

Didn't fit the Honda 250SX because of flat wheel profile. Needs to be a round profile.

These tire have more that enough flat space between knobbies to clear even the stickiest mud here in South Louisiana and yet let's you kick the rear end around when its dry dirt you're shredding through.

22x11-9 Kenda Klaw XC

I bought these tires to get a little more top speed out of my shaft-drive 250ex. The stock dunlop 22 inch tires it had were actually closer to 20 inch, so these kenda's looked like monsters in comparison. The kendas measure 21.5 at 2-3 psi and a full 22 when pumped up rock hard. Being 6 ply makes a heavy tire, which I don't like, but there aren't many choices in this price range. So I mounted them up and took off across a dew soaked lawn to do some donuts. I almost flipped! I've never seen a tire bite so well on wet grass. So I spent the next few days trying to figure out how many lugs I have to cut off to make them slide. I ended up removing 4lbs of lugs. If you want them to slide, you have to pump them rock hard and even then its not easy. The 250 just doesn't have enough power to break them loose. They're tall, heavy, and bite too well on the side. But I got what I wanted... the top speed. I lost the ability to slide around curves, which, ironically, slows me down a lot and makes riding unpredictable. My only complaint about the tire itself is that its 6 ply. It doesn't need to be that thick. Its not a mud tire, its a sport tire and lightness should trump puncture resistance. Other than that, I'm a big fan of kenda. The tread pattern isn't super aggressive, which I like. Contrasted to Holeshots' aggressive tread (which I hate), you can never tell if you're going to slide when you nail it OR lose the ability to steer because your front wheels are off the ground. But Kendas have a good balance of slip with bite. I have the 20inch version on a 250 quadsport. It slides with ease. Kendas also last a long time. I have 2 sets of fronts and a set of backs that I bought in 2007 that still look fairly new. If you're sure you want a 22 inch tire, the kendas are as good as any and are probably much cheaper. I'd recommend the 20s though, unless you just have to have 22s like I did.

Sizing will this tire fit on a 10 inch rim?
It is on a go kart
MotoSport Staff
Over 7 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
This tire is designed for a 10 inch diameter rim. You will want to verify the width of the rim though also to make sure this tire isn't too wide. Typically a tire that is 11" wide is installed on a 8" or 9" wide rim.
RichG18 Over 9 months ago Location: Iowa, USA
When purchasing this does it come with just one tire or the set of two rear tires?
Over 9 months ago Location: Ogden, UT, USA
Your choice - price is for one. Obviously you need to have a matching set on the front or rear.
MotoSport Staff
Over 9 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
These are sold indiviually. For a set you would need to order 2.

What is number is the rim size in 22x11-10, is it the 11 or 10?
i want to know which number is which so i know what tire to buy or if it fits on my rim
MotoSport Staff
Over 11 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
When sizing ATV tires, the first number is the tire diameter. The second number is the tire width and the third number is going to be the rim diameter.
Over 9 months ago Location: Ogden, UT, USA
22 is the outside diameter of the tire, 11 is the overall width of the tire, 10 is the diameter of the wheel.

The size 20x11x9 will that tire fit on stock 10x9 rims?
Top 1000 Contributor
Over 4 years ago Location: old forge pa
no it will not the first number on the rim is the diameter and the last number on the tire it the rim size. so in other words they need to match.

Why is size different from stock?
The stock rear tire for a 2008 Honda TRX700XX is 22x9r11.Will this fit on my stock wheel without any problems. Also will it change the gear ratio at the rear axle.

This tire will not fit your stock rims. You need to look for a tire that accommodates an 11" rim.

There are is a seemingly endless amount of factors that play into tire wear and longevity, so I'd probably just have to recommend that you give us a call and speak with us in person. Hopefully we can help you select a better tire over the phone!

There is a hard direction to this so if you ride hard then make sure the tire is on right

On the sidewall of the tire there are arrows that shows you the rotation direction the tire will be best for soft vs. hard terrain.
