This'll do

Needed an oil filter and glad I got this one.

Check it.

Last oil change, my filter had a label that reads "this side to engine" or something to that effect. This time my filter didn't have that. So it's a little less idiot-proof. Just make sure you install it correctly and don't starve your engine. Other than that, fits perfect. Installation a breeze. Took longer for the oil to drain than anything else.

Great Filter

This is the same as the OEM filter at a lower cost. Fast delivery, I bought a few extra because they are so easy to change. Would recommend buying this for a CRF450X.

Nice filter seems to be a little more heavy duty

Does the Job Well

Does as it should. Paired with frequent oil changes, this is a perfect product. Slightly more expensive than the Hiflo-Filtro products at most local shops but not enough to complain much about.

Good Filter.

I have had no issues with this filter, oil comes out looking clean as I change every 10-15hrs so will continue to get these filters, fit well in the bike.

Good filters when they arrive in one piece. Made the switch to twin air oil filters, just seem to be a bit higher quality for a buck more.

What's in a name?

I trust the name, and I trust the filter. Heck, it's got to be better than those off brand deals, right?

Q: How often should one change the oil on Honda Foreman 500 4x4?

A: Best bet is to follow the owner's manual. But my uncle accuses me of "over maintaining" my machines. Hey, rather spend a few $$ on oil now and then rather than expensive motor repairs, right?

A: I recommend changing the oil and filter at least every 6 months for a utility type vehicle because lots of short stop and go running. If it looks dirty sooner then change it early. It never hurts to change the oil but it does if you don't. Protect your engine and trans and change that nasty stuff regularly.
Nathan

A: Generally speaking you should change your oil and filter at least once per year. Obviously, the amount of riding and type of riding you do is also a factor. Checking the oil before each rode will help you keep track of its health. But also remember that changing the oil more often than is minimally required is will never hurt your machine. If in doubt, change it.

A: The owners manual for the newer bikes says every 100 hours but im not sure whay year yours is, you should be able to go on a forum or search online for a manual and that will give you the information for your exact bike
