Great

Easy to install, and gave my bike a new sound and feel compared to stock, would recommend.

K&N, for when you need power at any cost.

There's one thing K&N filters will get you, and that's airflow. This can get you those last couple ponies you need to catch your rival while streaking toward the finish line. Combined with the lifetime warranty (handled by going through K&N directly), you can expect to be set for the life of the bike. Fitlration lags behind OEM filters relative to the increase in airflow, so you'll want to make sure you keep an eye on your rings and cylinder walls along with your spark plug changes (something you should be doing anyway!). If you don't mind somewhat lower filtration in trade for greatly increased airflow, you're looking at a great option.

Fit as it should

Fit my 2012 YFZ 450 perfect without modification. Performance gains seem minimal but now I never have to buy a new filter again.

K&N Air filter

The filter was a perfect fit and was extremely easy to install. I noticed a small increase in throttle response, and power. Well worth the money.

Reusable!

I just installed this so I haven't had to clean it yet but that idea appeals to me! Spend $80 once and it should last as long as the bike with proper cleaning and oiling.

Just get it!

I've wanted to get one of these filters for my Yamaha R1 for awhile, and I wish now I would have gotten it sooner. I knew there'd be a little more power and a little better fuel economy, and it's definitely a notable change, but the throttle is smoother as well as engine braking. The exhaust tone is much better and has a far more tuned sound to it. One simple mod made my bike all around more enjoyable to ride!

Much better than oiled foam!

I bought this to replace a UNI foam air filter that had deteriorated over the years to the point of crumbling at the slightest touch on my friend's Honda 50. I have a 2004 SDG mini that came with a similar filter which is still in good shape today, so I have no doubt that this filter will last and require less maintenance.

Best price!!

I had the prescribed 15,000 miles on my 2010 BMW S1000RR and was looking for a replacement. The K&N is priced a few dollars more than a stock paper filter but will last nearly forever..... Not a very difficult decision. Motosport.com had the best price I could find for the K&N. Product was delivered a day ahead of expectation.
Best service, best prices!!

A must have upgrade

I bought this for my 2005 honda cbr600rr to replace the stock filter. The power difference was immediate over the stock filter. Being able to service the filter is awesome , especially with the serivce interval. In my opinion its a must have upgrade. My only complaint was needing to modify the tabs in my airbox for proper fit.

Q: Does This Ship in 3 Days?
Do these filters (K&N KA-5090) really ship in 3 days after ordering. Most places I'm looking at say 10-15 days before they ship due to them being ordered directly from K&N. If you can promise me faster than 3 weeks I'll cancel my other order and buy yours.

I am looking to replace the OEM airbox with something aftermarket to increase the air flow was told K&N pods will do the trick I have already installed stage 3 jets and custom exhaust... is this the K&N product they are telling me about ?

A: This K&N Air Filter would actually be an OEM replacement which would fit into your original O.E.M. air box without modification or jet changes. What you are looking for would be a clamp on filter. You would need to measure the OD of the carb flange where your air boot currently clamps on and and the length that would fit. Then give us a call. If the correct size filter you are looking for is available through one of our suppliers, we would be happy to order it for you. Please contact one of our sales professionals to inquire about special orders and availability.

Q: Why won't the modquad afs fit my ltz 400?

I bought the afs modquad for my 2014 ltz 400. It said it would fit my quad but doesn't. There is nothing in my air box for air filter to be hose clamped to. What do I have to do?

A: There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

Q: Just bought k&n air filter(HA-3500) for my atv 2000 Honda rancher trx350fe, do I need to oil it like the original foam air filter?

A: The K&N filters come pre-oiled so it does not need to be oiled before the original installation. The cleaner and oil required for a K&N type filter is different than your foam filter oil and cleaner. K&N offers the correct oil and cleaner for when you do need to service the filter. These filters do require oil and you cannot run them dry.
