MORE POWER

The Hotcams stage 2 was a great power increase, specially in the upper RPM range. Possible you will have to do a little machine work on your head for the intake lobes to clear, other than that its a snap to install

Great power

I only have a couple rides with the cam but fealt like I could notice a difference with the response and power of the bike as soon as I turn the throttle. Im happy so far. I installed this on my 2008 CRF250R with athena big bore kit.

Best investment yet

The power gain with this product was just what i was looking for. I installed it into an 09 crf450r and immediately felt the difference. After about half throttle, the bike really begins to pull and the power never seems to drop. It didnt come with any instructions for taking the decompression flange off the stock cam and installing it on the new one but its not too hard to figure out. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

Q: How much top end speed can I expect from my 2014 Yamaha raptor 700 after adding stage 2 hotcams?

A: Because of many varying factors such as gearing, tire size and tread, terrain, other performance modifications and more a "top speed" increase can not be determined. However you can expect to see a noticeable increase in low-end torque gains across the entire RPM range. As well as Excellent top-end power gains with great over-rev.

Q: Hot Cams 2 install?
4 months 26 days ago
Do I have to grind down the head for a 2008 crf250r for installing the hot cams 2. It mentions it in the directions.

A: This will depend on the casting. If you do it is minimal, but important the lobes clear the exhaust rocker and the cylinder head. its pretty simple. If you are unable to a local machine shop can do it at a reasonable price.

A: the stage 2 should work with your OEM valves and springs. I would highly recommend a new timing chain, specially if its more than a year old. you will benefit in the mid to upper RPM range

Q: So do They come with a decompression mechanism or do I have to go buy that to?
1 year 2 months ago
I have a 2007 CRF250r and the decompression weight broke off of the stock camshaft. I was thinking about getting just what broke but I think I'm going to get a new camshaft instead. Just needed to know if I buy the stage two hotcams camshaft if I would also have to buy the decompression assembly as well.

A: the best Jetting Kit is the JD Jetting Kit From Motosport. IT is all inclusive and simple installation instructions are included. It also eliminates the guess work for different altitudes. I also includes jetting and recommendations for altitudes from sea level to 9000 feet above sea level.
