As the pioneer of quiet performance mufflers, FMF raised the bar again in 2007 with the second generation of Q series mufflers, the Q4.

Built from the ground up, the Q4 is a completely new design, engineered for maximum performance while maintaining a sound level at or near 93 dB on most models. The Q4 is the market leader for low sound / high performance. Less sound equals more ground.

Q4 Details:

  • The Q4 incorporates Factory Forward Engineering to move the muffler closer - centralizing the mass for improved handling characteristics.
  • The new Hi-Flo formed end cap reduces weight and is less prone to damage.
  • The Q4 has an anodized aluminum canister and is lighter and quieter than the original Q model slip-on.
  • All Q4 Exhausts utilize a maintenance free USFS-approved turbine type spark arrestor so there is no screen to clean or burn out.
  • The Q4 employs free flowing internal baffles and chambers, advanced sound-absorbing materials and a reduced weight.
  • Max Sound output 96 dB, most models below 93 dB.
  • Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum and high-strength stainless steel.
  • Use with stock or FMF header.

Great exhaust! Put it on my 09' crf150, great performance. Also nice sound. If you aren't happy with it take out the spark arrester pipe with a alen wrench. SOUNDS AMAZING! Nice low bello. Brappp!

Will this fit a yoshimura header?
I have a 2008 crf250r will a full Yoshi and was wondering if I had to get a new header or will this exhaust fit without getting a new one?

FMF Q4 Spark Arrestor Slip-On Exhaust is designed for the OEM header and FMF headers only. If the Yoshimura header works with the factory slip on, than it may possibly work with this FMF product also.

Quiet Insert?
Is the quiet insert also included with the Q4?

There is a spark arrestor insert that comes with the Muffer but there isn't a separate quite core for it. The "Q4" is designed to be a quiet muffler, there is not a sound insert needed for it. Max Sound output 96 dB, most models below 93 dB.

Dual to Single?
Will this single pipe mount onto the stock header without the use of a cross section found on the 2008 Honda CRF250R with the dual exhaust?

Yes. It would mount up with the Stock Header or a FMF header. This Exhaust system would include muffler with the single mid-pipe that would eliminate the stock "Y-Pipe" on the dual exhaust Honda's.
