Must have to be legal in the woods

I easily mounted this muffler on my new 2016 KTM 250 XC-W because I had to have a spark arrester to be legal in Michigan, and also wanted a quiet exhaust note. Easy on, very quiet, and good looking. KTM should supply this with the bike! Fit and finish is excellent. This is not my first FMF product and likely won't be my last.

Q Silencer

It is not any more quiet than my stock silencer, but paired with an FMF Gnarly pipe I have increased bottom end torque.

A: I don't really have an accurate measurement for the decibel level for your stock exhaust on your KTM 300 EXC but this FMF Silencer would be rated between 89 and 93 decibels which normally would be significantly quieter than most stock exhaust systems.

A: I installed one on my KTM 250 XCW and it sounds about the same
