Taking the proven success of the Powercore 2, FMF created the Powercore 2 Shorty, with a shorter inner core length and aluminum canister. This design results in a finely tuned bolt-on performance silencer that maximizes bottom and mid-RPM power.
- An excellent choice for tight tracks and supercross track applications.
- The Powercore 2 Shorty silencer has a shortened inner core length and canister.
- The shorter overall length allows for the exhaust gases to exit quicker giving the silencer better performance through the bottom to mid-range of the power band.
- It is easy to perform maintenance on the Shorty silencer due to FMF using removable bolts which allow a simple break down.
Silencer is awesome has a nice deep sound when you really put the power on doesn't sit all the way back in the the back so your side panels don't turn all black would definitely buy again
Easy installation and sounds great. Put it with the fatty also. Great performance all around.
my cr125 had pc on it before, got the shorty and gave me so much low end (for a 125) great performance and sound
Coupled the Shorty with a Gnarly pipe to get some gains on the low end. It worked for what I was trying to achieve in allowing me to pull higher gears at lower rpm up hills to reduce wheel spin. The gains with this combo where not as massive as I was lead to believe in reviews. At least not on the 300 but these bikes already have huge torque. It was also quieter than the stock silencer
Easy to install and sounds great-2003 CR85r
If you want instant power and torque with stock header then the shorty is for you. No tuning necessary.
Easy replacement for stock or the hole pipe with awesome finish and nice pull off the. Bottom !!
This can adds great low end torque while still screaming on the top. Really like doing business with MotoSPORT. Items always arrive quickly.
Took me maybe two minutes to install, changed whole power band and sounds supper sick!!!!!! I put it on my 2001 yz125. don't wait get it now.
Want to sound like Cooper Webb screaming down the track? You need this pipe to make it a reality. Looks great, sounds even better!
Bought this product to replace the stock one. Fit is nice and the bottom end pull is a lot better so it's great for new riders.
Installed this in a few mminutes on my 14' TC250 , sounds super crisp , and looks killer !
FMF shorty looks sick on my 2012 ktm 150 xc .Great power and awesome look.
The silencer went on easy and sounds great. There may be a bit more power but it is hard to tell. The angle is kind of weird and the exhaust has blackened the inside of the plastic. The bike is definitely louder and sounds different from other bikes at the track. Like it don't love it.
Awesome Silencer, very light and LOUD. Love it. A must have for the 2-stroke junkie.
This was a very good
Purchase of mine. It sounded
Great but it didn't make it
That much louder. Once I
Put in a new jet it gave it
Easy to install, sounds great. 10/10 would buy again.
I put this on my RM125. I honestly didn't think it would make the bike feel much different. But it made the 125 feel like a different bike. Before it had no low end power and a kind of jittery transfer when I hit the power band. Now, I can putt it around a lot easier in 1st gear and the power delivery is sooo much better when it hits the power band. I highly recommend this product and I can't find a single thing to complain about. It's worth so much more than the price!!!
Fit's great, looks awesome, sounds good, only issue I see is that they don't include the two rubber mounting grommets that attach to the rear frame, I don't think that's too much to ask for two pieces of rubber.
Also for those type of specs I recommend contacting FMF directly at (310) 631-4363 or firstname.lastname@example.org
