O-ring & Pipe Sprint Kit

Bought this kit for a 2001 cr250 to replace my old worn out springs and my toasted exhaust O-rings. The springs fit beautifully, nice and tight, but when I installed the O-rings and slipped the pipe in, both O-rings ripped. Springs were great, but I'd go with oem for the exhaust O-rings.

Horrible springs

Your oem springs are much better. I bought this for new springs and read the reviews about some breaking. One of mine broke a few races in. Plus theyre a little longer than my oem yz springs and not as stiff. Orings are orings but dont expect much from these springs

FMF O-Ring & Pipe Spring Kit

5/5 on ease of installation ONLY if you have a spring removal/install tool (I have FMF's). Overall rating 4/5 because they are just o-rings. Durability/performance/power get a 3/5 only because I haven't tested against anything else and they WORK. I had old worn rings and replaced them with these and they sealed up and got rid of all smoke coming out between my cylinder and pipe.

Broke in an hour.

Just rebuilt my 2000 YZ 125 motor, and purchased this kit to replace the old springs and seals since I have a fatty pipe and turbine core 2 silencer. During break in time with 15:1 fuel one of the brand new springs snapped off the pipe. It was running at 1/4 throttle for an hour in 3rd gear on flat ground. Seriously not happy with this kit from such a reputable company.

Broken First Moto

Installed the springs using the FMF Spring Puller (Great tool) and the broke during my first moto at the track. The hook parts on the ends are the weak points. I found one spring dangling from my case with the opposite hook completely missing.

PURCHASED THIS KIT FOR MY SONS KAWASAKI KX 85. THE O RINGS FIT PERFECTLY BUT THE SPRINGS WERE TO SHORT SO I SAVED THEM FOR MY HONDA

I purchased for a 2004 RM250 but the springs were too short... they stretched out to the point of no return... also it only comes w/1 o-ring, its not the dual style like the pic. shows

These fit good and last as long as can be expected. I have never had a spring break on me.

Good product

I thought the springs were good and tight, but i thought the o rings i got in my top end Athena kit were a little thicker.

These parts fit the OEM parts without any issues. A perfect fit. I will buy this product for my next replacement.

Q: I have an 04 ktm 125sx with a 200cc top end and i have fmf fatty exhaust, should i put the bike model as a 04 125sx or a 200sx?
1 year 4 months ago
The problem is I bought the bike used and I don't know if it has the fmf fatty for a 125 or a 200. But after my first ride smoke started blowing out of the front of the exhaust so I definitely need new rings, but I don't know what bike to order it for, or if it even matters ??? Thanks for the help

A: Most likely you will want to order the seals for the 2004 KTM 125sx and they can be found in our OEM section here:

A: No, FMF does not offer a kit for the 1998 Kawasaki KDX200. You can find the OEM springs and orings in the OEM section here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/kawasaki/1998/kdx200/muffler%28s%29

A: Unfortunately, the FMF pipe and spring kit is not made to fit your 1989 Honda CR250R. You can find the exhaust seal and springs for your bike in the OEM parts diagrams for your bike here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/HONDA/1989/CR250/CYLINDER-HEAD-86_89

A: From looking at the OEM diagrams for your 2004 Honda CR125 I can see that it actually does not use this style O-Ring Set up. It uses a larger exhaust seal ring. It does use springs but FMF does not have a kit with just the springs for your bike.

I would recommend ordering the Honda OEM Seal and Springs.

You would need: Honda OEM #91304-KZ4-L11 (seal), Honda OEM #18332-KS7-830 (springs). You would want to order 1 seal and 2 springs.
