The Rekluse performs as advertised. Great Product and Excellent Support from Rekluse. Maybe the best MFG support in the parts business. As always FMF products are excellent. I/my family have been in Dirt Bike Racing for 40 years and purchased from numerous suppliers. Motosport is absolutely the best vendor we have purchased from. Pricing, Shipping and Customer support is second to none. If you are not buying from Motorsport you have neglected a great asset.
But it doesn't deliver on performance. I bough this for my son's pw50 and it really does make it sound like a "real " dirtbike, but that's it.
I'm a honda/pro circuit guy, but on the PW50 there were no noticeable performance gains.
The OEM parts/equipment are designed to make the machines run at a standard rate. Be careful of buYing into the hype of aftermarket parts. While many do affect performance, many are gimmicks. This is a gimmicj.
I'm an FMF guy. always liked the performance and sound of it. Just wish FMF could get there coating on better somehow. First time out riding and then wash, it started to get rust spots on the pipe. Overall still satisfied with it.
I naught this fory 01/cr 250 it makes the low end have more crack and makes the power band a little more intense. I love Motorsport over any dealer ship
Just installed the new FMF "Fatty" pipe and silencer on my 04 YZ250 and it was a perfect fit. I can tell an immediate difference in the low end and mid as it rips.
This was a replacement for the Pro Circuit pipe that constantly cracked and had to be rewelded. Poor craftsmanship on PC's part
I added this combo to my sons 06 RM125. I also added a VForce3 reed system and it really wakes up the bike throughout the power band. His practice bike has the Works finish which can be a bit of work to keep looking good so I went with the platinum finish this time. FMF seems to hold up to rocks well without denting.
FMF always makes the best quality pipes in my opinion. I got this pipe a couple of years back for a yz250 and it runs great. With much stronger metal than the stock pipe. Always have bought from motosport, always will.
this is an amazing pipe and silencer instant power incease...and my power in the lower rpm range was the most noticeable....deff..will by again and again
it looks amazing on the bike havent got to use it yet, but was very very hard to install, i used WD40 still was super hard to install.
I was very excited to get my pipe and silencer. But when I looked inside my pipe to see how it was and the conditions, I found LOTS of rust... It may not effect the bike, but it's something I would not like to see.
Most aftermarket exhausts I upgrade from stock doesn’t give you a noticeable feel of increased performance. However, the FMF pipe and silencer combo I chose took approx. 5 min to install. I then test rode my 2013 Yamaha YZ250 for a few min. WOW, what a difference! The stock exhaust raised the front wheel in first and second land sometimes in third. The FMF raised in all gears and increase the pucker factor. Oh yeah, lighter than stock.
Great product. Good deal. Really woke up my yz250 2stroke. It was shipped and on my bike in about a week.
I bought the Fatty/Shorty combo for my '05 YZ125. It fit perfectly, looks incredible and works perfectly. There is a difference in performance and the nickle finish is easy to maintain.
This fit my '05 KX85 like a glove... sounds and power improvements were GREAT
I've been told for years now how a pipe and silencer will REALLY increase the performance of my YZ. I've been holding off for quite a few years but decided that the wife and boys could buy the pipe and silencer for me for Father's Day. I found out (after burning $334) that the performance of my YZ can be enhanced with judicious application of fuel input via my right wrist. The combo did shorten the gap from 0 to the power band a little but not worth burning up $334. If I had to do it again, I'd forego the purchase and twist the throttle a little harder.
Definitely not worth the money in my opinion.
I bought this as a 1st aftermarket performance part for my kx125. After installing and re-jetting, my bike ran absolutely great. I'd recommend FMF pipes 2 every MX rider
Great pipe for the price. Put it on my '03 Yz85 and could tell some difference. It sounded really aggressive and mid-range power is insane, but looking back now I wish I had gotten the SST pipe with the Turbine Core 2 silencer. But this pipe does good if your on a budget.

We developed these specs with a 32:1 fuel to oil mixing ratio of a 50/50 mix of race fuel and super unleaded, 0 - 1500 ft altitude at 70 degrees outside temperature.
