Rekluse FMF

The Rekluse performs as advertised. Great Product and Excellent Support from Rekluse. Maybe the best MFG support in the parts business. As always FMF products are excellent. I/my family have been in Dirt Bike Racing for 40 years and purchased from numerous suppliers. Motosport is absolutely the best vendor we have purchased from. Pricing, Shipping and Customer support is second to none. If you are not buying from Motorsport you have neglected a great asset.

Sounds great...

But it doesn't deliver on performance. I bough this for my son's pw50 and it really does make it sound like a "real " dirtbike, but that's it.
I'm a honda/pro circuit guy, but on the PW50 there were no noticeable performance gains.
The OEM parts/equipment are designed to make the machines run at a standard rate. Be careful of buYing into the hype of aftermarket parts. While many do affect performance, many are gimmicks. This is a gimmicj.

FMF ALL THE WAY!!!!

I'm an FMF guy. always liked the performance and sound of it. Just wish FMF could get there coating on better somehow. First time out riding and then wash, it started to get rust spots on the pipe. Overall still satisfied with it.

Best pipe and silencer ever

Just installed the new FMF "Fatty" pipe and silencer on my 04 YZ250 and it was a perfect fit. I can tell an immediate difference in the low end and mid as it rips.

This was a replacement for the Pro Circuit pipe that constantly cracked and had to be rewelded. Poor craftsmanship on PC's part

Wakes up the RM125

I added this combo to my sons 06 RM125. I also added a VForce3 reed system and it really wakes up the bike throughout the power band. His practice bike has the Works finish which can be a bit of work to keep looking good so I went with the platinum finish this time. FMF seems to hold up to rocks well without denting.

Adds good power with a longer lasting pipe

FMF always makes the best quality pipes in my opinion. I got this pipe a couple of years back for a yz250 and it runs great. With much stronger metal than the stock pipe. Always have bought from motosport, always will.

LOTS of rust inside the pipe.

I was very excited to get my pipe and silencer. But when I looked inside my pipe to see how it was and the conditions, I found LOTS of rust... It may not effect the bike, but it's something I would not like to see.

Once your bike is selected the drop down will give you the option of the Powercore 2 Silencer or the Shorty. The combo does not come with both silencers.

Ktm 300 exc 2015 pipe?
Hi, I've a ktm 300 exc 2015 and i use It for enduro, the fmf fatty is a good pipe for My bike? And What is the difference of silencer spark arrestor, powercore 2, turbincore 2? What is the Best silencer for My Bike? Thanks

For enduro style riding I would recommend the Gnarly pipe and spark arrested silencer. The Gnarly pipes have been developed and tested for the off-roader in mind. With thicker 18g steel construction, it will take the punishment you can throw at it. This pipe will shift and increase the power band so that it comes on sooner, pulls harder through the mid and smoothes out the high RPM surge. This was once called the Torque pipe, but it did not include the thicker steel construction.
As far as the silencers go there are two criterias to look at, performance and features. Using a Powercore or Powercore 2 silencer will give your bike increased throttle response, a lighter and higher quality silencer with that factory look and sound.
The Shorty will give you even more throttle response and low end power. Because it's smaller you'll see even more weight savings and a louder sound level.
If you're really looking for that factory silencer, there's the Titanium 2 silencer. With the titanium stinger, front cap and cone end cap, you'll shave off tons of weight. Gains will be similar to our Shorty.
Turbinecore and Turbinecore 2 are the Forestry Approved Spark Arrested silencers. These give you that factory look and power yet still being Forestry legal. This isn't something you'll have to take on and off, as all of our 2-stroke Spark Arrested silencers have the "Turbine-Dampening Syetem' built into the core.
Also we have our "Q" silencer which takes our Turbinecore 2 to the next level of being sound friendly. This is our quietest silencer offered. This also has a Forestry Approved Spark Arrestor.
Last but not least to the 2-stroke line, the "Q-Stealth". The Q-Stealth is living proof FMF is the only exhaust company committed to bringing new technology to the 2-stroke enthusiast. Quiet on the trail as well as on the sound meter. No power loss. More packing volume-longer time between repacks. USFS approved spark arrestor. AMA and FIM enduro legal.

Best pipe for me?
I race motocross and our tracks are a little tighter. Lots of corners and that type of stuff. I have a 2014 150sx. I feel like its got enough bottom end power. I need a little more mid range power I think. What pipe would be recommended?

I would recommend the Fatty pipe and Powercore 2 Silencer.
The Fatty pipes are designed to give the engine an all around power increase. We are not drastically altering the power band of the bike. This pipe will appeal to most people that are happy with the stock power band and just looking for more useable power everywhere.
A Powercore 2 silencer will give your bike increased throttle response, a lighter and higher quality silencer with that factory look and sound.
The Shorty will give you even more throttle response and low end power. Because it's smaller you'll see even more weight savings and a louder sound level.

I have a 2015 ktm 85sx and ride in tighter tracks. I need more bottom end so would the power core work better or the shorty?
MotoSport Staff Expert
MotoSportExpert
For the tighter tracks you would want to go with the shorty for more bottom end. The FMF Powercore 2 Shorty silencer has a shortened inner core length and canister. The shorter overall length allows for the exhaust gases to exit quicker giving the Powercore 2 Shorty silencer better performance on the bottom to mid range of the power band.

This would be a great pipe and silencer combo for your 1997 Honda CR250. The combo would come with one silencer, some models you have the choice of the standard powercore 2 or the powercore 2 shorty. The shorty is not available for your 97 CR250. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Will I have to reject with this pipe?

It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.
