Great upgrade

Bought one of these to replace the stock damper on my yz125 after the stock one deteriorated. Feels great and is an excellent replacement over any stock damper. Only issue I found was that you would have to disassemble the entire bottom shock to install as it is one solid piece. I cut mine down the side with a razor blade and pushed it on that way and doesnt seem to have affected its durability or performance on anyway. All in all a good buy.

Shock bumper

my shock bumper was deteriorating, and i was looking everywhere for a new one. and finally found what i wanted, its great, holds up and actually. it does feel a bit better on suspension. dosent bottom out as hard.

Better Than OEM

I looked everywhere for a replacement shock bumper for my 91' CR500. I could have gone with OEM but they tend to disinigrate over a short time. This shock bumper is well made and a perfect fit.

Q: Can I unscrew the clevis end from the shock shaft without oil blowing out through the shock shaft?

The clevis does unscrew but I don't want oil blowing all over the place. This is a 1993 KLX650R dual sport project bike. It needs a new shock bumper.
