Just what I needed for my shorty helmet.

Visibility is excellent. Only drawback is, somehow the shape directs the wind into your mouth at highway speeds. This could be partly due to the shape of the windscreen on my BMW R1150R. If I duck down slightly this goes away. I'm still going to order a tinted version for sunny days, even though glasses easily work with the this shield.

Shields work very well except in the rain. They are not made for rainy weather and will allow water to blow under the shield.

Q: Can this be adapted to work with a bicycle helmet, which doesn't have snaps. I wear glasses; grit, dust and crux get sucked behind them into my eyes.?

A: No, you would need the snaps to securely attach this shield. You would either need to attach snaps to your helmet or wear goggles.

Q: Will this shield fit any standard beanie half helmet?

I have a standard issue DOT half helmet beanie style, and am looking for a better visor than the one that comes with it. Will this just snap right in place?

A: Yes, this visor would work with any helmet with the standard 3-snap visor set up. The snaps on the visor are slightly adjustable to fit virtually any helmet that would take a 3 snap visor. The measurement available from the manufacturer shows that from the center snap, to the center low cut portion, is 3.75 inches. With that measurement, it appears the lowest portion would be about 4.50-4.75 inches below the snaps.

A: Yes, and there is some built-in adjustability that becomes quite rigid when all three snaps are secure.
