Sweet

The brake took a couple rides to break in, but it works excellent now and matches my OEM Brembo brakes nicely.

Bought this as replacement

I bought this rotor as a replacement. The rear rotor that was on my bike was an aftermarket one, though I do not know what brand. This rotor is a direct bolt on item that looks good and seems quality made. I had no fitment issues at all. It was easy to install, if you have some mechanical ability. In other words, if you can turn some wrenches, you can install this. Installation time will vary by motorcycle. Cost wise, it was a very reasonable price for this product. I am extremely happy with it. The old rotor I am sure was beyond it's wear limit as it had a ridge at the outer edge. No such wear is showing yet on this rotor, and it has seen two full track days as well as a few hundred street miles so far.

Great product

Installed easily on my 2002 YZ250. Great perfomance, great price. I don't see any reason to waste your money on more expensive disks of metal. I would buy again.

Bang for buck

I was looking for a cheap rotor to get me by for a while but found a great value i've had it on for about twenty hours of mixed riding, from moto to woods, it's held up great and stops well I've had no problems with overheating either.

A: Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct Driven Sport Series Brake Rotor - Rear for your bike. The rear rotors only come in stock diameter. Driven does not list a thickness on their rotors, but should be close to the OEM specification. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: I am looking at this rotor and a tusk rotor, driven is 10 bucks more, is it a better rotor?

A: The main difference is that the Driven Rotors are made from high Carbon Steel which has hich has 3 times the thermal conductivity of Stainless steel. The High carbon steel cools down much quicker, which means that braking performance will be better as your brakes you will not overheat as easily, and eventually warp if gotten hot enough. The only draw back to high carbon rotors are maintenance related. If the consumer puts away the bike wet and dirty, the rotors can rust. Basically if you take care of your bike and put it away clean, the high carbon steel rotors as re the way to go as they will offer better performance. If you are not very good on the maintenance side, a stainless rotor will not deteriorate from lack of maintenance.
