Piece of JUNK!!
DO NOT BUY, I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS CLUTCH!! It is a piece of JUNK! I switched out my clutch on my 06 R6 because it was slipping, the new clutch worked all of ONE day and started slipping like my original one. All of the friction plates are the same size meaning it's thinner then the stock one leaving too much play in the clutch. I really recommend anyone stay away from buying this clutch. Buy the OEM stock clutch. Can't go wrong with stock because this thing is a piece of JUNK!

Great Clutch Kit
I've placed only a few miles on this clutch but the clutch feel is great so far. It is priced great as a complete kit. I had purchased a set of EBC clutch plates only for the same price a week earlier when I ran across the Driven complete kit for the exact same price. I returned the EBC kit (to a different company) and purchased the Driven kit from Motosport.com. It arrived within a week to Germany and I installed it the same day. I love the price, the product, and Motosport.com. I wll post another review in about a week when I've put about 1000 miles on the kit.
This kit includes all the Clutch Friction (fiber) Plates, Steel Plates and Springs that are required per model. I would also recommend purchasing a Clutch Cover Gasket as it is not included with the clutch kit.
The driven clutch is an aftermarket high performance clutch with heavy duty springs. The heavy springs are really what make the difference though. They help the clutch lock up harder to where it does not slip. I did some research on this bike and what clutches guys are using. A lot of guys running the R1's like you, swear by the OEM clutch with heavy springs for drag racing. The Yamaha OEM clutches are very good quality but the springs are light to keep the clutch pull fairly easy for the casual riders.
