Good Purchase

This was just what I needed to rebuild my 1997 cr250. It helped me rebuild the whole bike. Engine, forks seals, rear suspension,. Everything I needed help with was in the Manual. I striped my bike down to the bare frame and rebuilt it one step at a time with this manual. Thank You Motosport for having this product along with all the other parts I needed for the total rebuild of my bike.

Works for me

the small OEM supplement is absolutely necessary, but this manual has worked and I would have spent a lot of money on service if it wasn't for this book. I wish they had a version that was specific to the 97 KX500 only. Confusing trying to make sure you don't read the wrong explanation. A much higher cost to justify the better book would be fine.

Great Guide

Very good guide to the motorcycle. Already used it to change the oil and filter. Good picture diagrams and step by step instructions.

Depending on which 250 Yamaha you have you would want to check the service manual for that model or check with a Yamaha Service department for the recommended oil.
