A little difficult to install, but worth it

I bought two sets of these, one for my CRF230F and for my sons' CRF125FB. They were a little hard to install because the bend doesn't go as far as I think it should, but with another set of hands it helped a lot with installation. Both sets of these hand guards proved to be worth every penny because on the same day my son and I both laid our bikes over, but at different times of the day. Oddly enough we both fell to the left and had the guards not been there it would have been a lot more painful.

Best handguards ever!

Iv had these bark busters for a while now and iv hit more trees then I care to remember and they held up as good as can be. These r the best ur gonna find, they have a pretty thick bar that looks like it will never bend no matter how many times u crash or how bad the crash is! GET THEM NOW

Very good product

I purchased these to race in my first enduro. A word of caution about mounting options. Order these with the triple clamp mounts and NOT the bar clamp type mount. The bar clamp mounts will allow the hand guards to rotate when you crash. Ask me how I know.. :) Also the expanding nut in the handlebar will start to pull out. Do your self a favor and get the triple clamp mounting option... Other wise great product!

Work well on 80s

Definitely worth the money. They are solid and hold up well. They did require a little tweaking to fit nicely on my sons ktm 80. I like the smaller profile for the mini and they look great.

Nice Guards

I got these guards mainly because the original probends were out of stock. I was pleasantly surprised when these showed up at my door. The are pretty sturdy as they have been hit by a couple of trees and the ground and they aren't bent yet. I also like that the guards have a lower profile and resemble more of an mx guard. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the triple clamp mounts made it a major PITA to get the guards setting even with each other.

Not the best

They don't have enough bend at the end of the bars, had I known this I wouldn't have bought these

Good protection

No surprizes. As per instructions everything fit as it should with no hassle. Sturdy enough to provide good protection!

A: You will want to for sure find out what bars you have installed in the bike first. You can either use a U clamp or top triple clamp option. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

I have a 2006 rm125 with stock triple clamps, and a renthal 1 1/8 fat bar. Some reviews said the bar mounts move in a crash and I'm looking for the most sturdy mounts I can get. So which mount is best?

A: You won't need anything outside what is provided in the kit. You will want to go with the Solution Mount - Oversize 1-1/8" Bars.

A: There should be an insert that installs into the end of your handlebar that the bolt would thread into. I would check and make sure that this insert hasn't pushed into the bar to far or stripped out.

A: On the inside of your handlebar? there are 2 diff sizes of expanding nuts that came with the kit. If you can't tighten it down firmly try the bigger nut.

A: For the 2011 Husqvarna 630 SMS you would want to utilize the triple clamp side mounts as the triple clamp fork pinch bolts are on the side. No additional hardware will be required for mounting.

A: You select the mount kit type before you add it to your cart.

It depends on your fork bolt position. If they are on the side You need the side mount kit and so on. Avoid the u mounts. They allow the hand guards to rotate if/when you crash.
