A: When changing the exhausts on any model it will alter the exhaust flow. Depending on your location/elevation, you may need a programmer. Some bikes will run without re-mapping the fuel injection but they are not running at peak performance. Its is recommended to install a fuel programmer when installing the exhaust so the bike does run correctly and will prevent any chance of engine damage. You can try to run the exhaust without programming and see how it performs, but that is not recommended.
