It does the job but...

I bought this to simply filter my fuel, and its pretty sweet you can see the gas flowing through, it works well... but its not very durable, I had one race on it and a rock hit it just right and cracked the glass leaking fuel all over. It's a great product just the durability is questionable.

Do Not Buy!

Dont waste your 10 bucks on this it restricts the fuel flow by a lot and my bike does not run the same with it on. Not worth sacrificing performance

Looks good.

I installed it on my 08 CRF250R just for some added protection. I like being able to see the fuel going in to the carb though and since I run the carb out of gas after ride its nice to see it getting emptied.

Great look! Great Fit!

Installed in about five minutes. looks good very function able and it helps to let you know your out of fuel! If there is none in the filter theirs none in the carb... long push back to the truck lol

Good idea

had a fuel filter thing on my cr125 i like the whole idea of it gives a little peace of mind to what is getting into your carb but this product is a little too big and mounting it seems a little pointless to me. again its a great idea if you got room between your gas tank and carb but for me just wasnt there

Where do i install this on a 2006 kx450f?
will i need to split the supply hose and install the filter between the two halves?

Yes, this would normally be installed in the fuel line between the tank/petcock and the carburetor. On your 2006 Kawasaki KX450F there is actually already a fuel filter screen inside your fuel tank right where the fuel line comes out of the tank. You can find the OEM fuel filter for your bike here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/KAWASAKI/2006/KX450F/FUEL-TANK?sku=49019-0002

How do you install it on a 2012 crf150r?

This is too large to fit a CRF150R. The CRF150R uses 1/4" fuel line. Keep in mind the CRF150R has a built in fuel filter attached to the petcock and doesn't necessarily require an additional filter.
