Description Item #BAZ0009

A simple plug-and-play application, the Bazzaz O2 Eliminator allows you to tune the bike throughout the entire RPM and throttle position range.

  • The O2 eliminator allows the removal of the stock O2 sensor without triggering the "FI" fault light on the dash.
  • It also stabilizes the AFR (fuel delivery) which would otherwise become very unstable without the sensor or this Bazzaz eliminator installed.
  • If the Bazzaz O2 eliminator is not used when the stock sensor is removed, the stock ECU will lean out the bike, which results in poor performance and may also harm the engine.
  • In addition, the Bazzaz O2 eliminator can be used with any brand of engine management system, which typically do not allow for fuel map adjustments, within the following range of operation: 0 - 20% throttle and 0 - 6000 RPM.

Q: Will this work on my bike and does it have the standard oem connector where the standard O2 sensor plugs in?
On the fitment page there is only gsxr 600's listed until 2009, yet I have a 2007 model, would there be a model that fits my bike? Also does it have the oem connector of where the original O2 sensor plugs in?

Q: Adapting this to a Can Am Spyder?
Would this unit keep the ECU from going into a closed loop? I have a 2008 Can Am Spyder with K&N air filter, Tailgunner exhaust, and TBR Juice Box Pro fuel management system. I am getting flat spots or a flutter at lower RPM in high gear. I need to trick the ECU into staying in an open loop, so It will not lean out the mixture when I add fuel with the TBR Juice Box Pro

A: Each Bazzaz O2 eliminator is made specifically for the model(s) it is listed for, and is designed to trick the ECU into thinking the factory O2 sensor is still installed. The eliminator locks the ECU into one fuel table, so it is no longer trying to adjusts its fuel settings based on the feedback of the factory O2 sensor. However they do not make an O2 eliminator for the Can Am Spyder. It’s not going to work. They had the Spyder in their shop but were unable to develop a working O2 eliminator because they couldn’t dyno it. The O2 sensor system on the Spyder is much different than the other bikes they have made eliminators for.
