Saves your hand

Works pretty well in holding the basket. Its a time saver and stops you from jabbing your hand. It would be 5 stars if it was model bike specific because I feel it would give a better purchase on the basket, but it works.

Bike master clutch tool

great tool and one of the few required to tear down a dirtbike engine. this tool also is required to get the proper torque spec on the nut thats under the pressure plate.

Needed for proper torquing

Did my first ever clutch and needed a way to hold the basket and crank to properly torque the nut. These did the trick. Was still a little tricky adjusting the jaws and they popped of on me at first so they only got 4 stars.

MotoSPORT.com. Is there any other place for anything Moto???

Works great

just snug up the set screw. i changed my clutch basket by myself and this tool made it possible. the long handle can be positioned to brace against the foot peg to keep it from turning and use 2 hands to break the nut loose and on my torque wrench. no impact or air tools required

Simple design and works well

This clutch holder is simple and does the job well, works the best with a main gear stopper and an impact wrench. You'll be changing clutches in a matter of minutes! Make sure you don't over tighten or you risk damaging your inner hub. Sometimes an extra set of hands helps to keep the holder from slipping out of place. Either way, this tool works great.

Simple Necessity

I stumbled across this tool (THANKS Motosport) when I decided to replace my tired original OEM clutch with an EBC SRK clutch. I have worked on everything on wheels for a half century or so and thought that this tool was intended for those who have no imagination. WRONG!
The simplicity of design and well thought out engineering of this simple tool makes it worth several times the cost.
The damage you can do being creative will cost you a magnitude more than the cost of the tool.

A: Yes. This is a universal tool that is made to be used on a wide range of motorcycles. It does not have a specific model fitment but you should not have any issues using it on your kx65. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: No, because the clutch hub on your Honda CR85 faces inward toward the engine it would not allow you to use this tool to hold your clutch in place. The hub would have to be facing outward for this tool to work properly.

Q: Does this piece specifically hold the inner clutch? Or just the outer basket?

A: This style is intended to hold the clutch hub, which is the inner portion once the pressure plate and discs are removed.
