Clutch lever replacement

Replaced OEM for 2002 Honda VTX 1800; Easy change, works great. Slightly longer than original but of no consequence.

Bought as a spare

bought this just to have a spare one just in case you know what happens.. seems like a pretty standard replacement lever, nothing fancy but will do the trick.

Cable hole not cast properly.

The lever is cast. Like stock levers. It bolts right up but the hole for the cable end was not finished and the cable end will not seat properly so the cable can go into the slot. This may be just the lever I received, don't know if it is indicative of all of them.

Other than that I think it is a decent lever at a decent price. I also bought the front brake lever from the same company and it bolted up without issue.

Bad function

This lever on the KTMs doesn't work. The cupping plastic part that contacts the slave cylinder skips and makes for a popping sound and very unsmooth clutch pull. Returned the part instantly.

A: Should not be a problem, but you might have to adjust the screw that comes with the lever.

A: This is a stock replacement lever for your stock clutch perch. This would require that you still have the original perch on your bike to use this lever.
