Incredibly, the Artrax SX1 motorcycle tire offers both excellent grip off-road and unbeatable control at the track, and does it all at a very reasonable price.

  • Made for Intermediate / Hard terrain.
  • The Artrax SX1 has been developed for use on intermediate to hard terrain and delivers the control for which you are looking.
  • The SX1 tire has ribbed sub-tread between the lugs to add control in soft conditions.
  • Shoulder knobs help you put power down in the turns.
  • The stiff sidewall with 4-ply construction resists punctures and helps absorb shock when going big.
  • Widely spaced knobs help to prevent the tire from getting completely packed with mud and dirt, thus providing great clean-out and excellent bite.
  • Sold individually.

GREAT tire

I bought this tire and wanted to try something different from the mx51. The tire was a little harder to install but had great traction at the track in harder packed dirt and handled fine in wet conditions too. Have three rides on tire and they look like they have about 3 rides left. Already ordered another and cant wait to try the mx pro next.

Very Surprised

I had purchased Artex tires for my quad over a year ago and was very impressed with the durability and design of those tires so I though I would give the moto-x tire a try for my 10' yz450f. I ride mostly cross country and a few moto-x races throughout the year and so I know what holds up and what doesn't. The tire was a little stiff to mount however leaving it in the house over night to warm up and soften helped for mounting. Now that I have a few rides on this tire I am sold on motosports artex brand for an economic tire. It holds up like a Maxxis with the traction of a Dunlop. I highly recommend.

Good tire for the price...

Only have two rides on the tire so far, but seems to be holding up pretty well. Hooks up great in the turns, less wheel spin...but that's expected from a new tire...lets see how it's doing after a couple weeks of abuse.

Good tire for price

I usually get the Bridgestone 404 tire but they are getting expensive. So I thought I would try this tire (Artrax SX1). I could not tell the difference at my level of ability which is about good vet novice-intermediate. Its a little more difficult to mount but overall, this seems to be a very good tire for the price.

This is the best tire on the market for the money

I have used maxxis, dunlop, bridgestone, pirelli and now artrax too. I will definantly be sticking with artrax tires from now on. It was fairly easy to install and looks good on the bike. I have about 2-3 hours on this tire already and it still looks very new. It tracks well in all conditions as well. I have ridden in very soft muddy conditions to very dry conditions and it handles well in everything. If your second guessing this tire dont! Buy it and try it! for the price I guarantee you will not regret it.

Awesome Tire!

I am totally impessed with this tire.I have been invovled in the motorsports industry professionally for over 15 years. This tire works just as well,if not better, than any other tire at any price or brand. Just put 2 hours of riding in mixed terrain(hard pack, sand, rock, roots) on the rear and it still has the edges on the knobs. It also hooked up everywhere.Defintiely recommend this tire! Oh,and by the way, it mounts up the same as every other mx tire,if you know what you are doing and I have easily installed over 100 mx rear tires.

Don't really know about a worcs or dessert race, but I've run this tire for months now with little sign of wear. It hooks-up great on hard pack! Haven't lost the rear end with this tire once!!

This would be a great tire for Intermediate or hard terrain riding. From what I have seen on these Artrax SX1's they hold up great, especially for the value price of the tire. I would say this would be a great choice to try out.

Is the 110x80x19 a TALLER, FATTER tire than the 100x90x19?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
The 110/80 is wider by 10mm but is actually shorter by about 2mm.

If i will replace my honda cr125 2007 oem tire 100/90/19 for this tire Artrax SX1 110/80/19 O THIS CHANGE AFFECT MY BIKE?
MotoSport Staff
Over 5 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
You can run the 110/80-19 tire no problem on your 2007 CR125. The tire is slightly heavier and some people may notice a slight loss in power. Typically this is very minimal and wont be noticed though. I personally run the 110 sized tires on my 125's as they tend to be a little more stable and last a little longer also.

Will this size tire fit on a rim that currently has a 100/90-19 tire on it?
i want more rubber on the ground for better traction, but the tire on my YZ250F now is a 100/90-19 will this 110/90-19 fit on the same rim?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
Yes, it will fit your stock rim.
Over 4 years ago Location: Altoona
That is the wrong way to go. Yes, it will fit the rim but you will really get less rubber on the ground. The rim on a 250F is more narrow than a 250T or 450. So, if you put this tire on a more narrow rim you will pinch the tire and give the tread more arc. More arc in the tread from left to right means less contact on the ground. Stick with what belongs on your bike and if you want more contact look into lower psi. to do this run the TuBliss System.
