Mid-range price, upper-range quality

ASV levers are pretty well known for their quality so I don't feel the need to go into too much detail on how great they are. I really like the adjustment screw that allows you to change how far out the levers rest when not pulled, that's just one little feature that shows that ASV knows what they're doing and making a better product than a lot of the competition, especially at that price.

As far as appearance goes, my only gripe with them is very minor and it's that there aren't any color options. I'd like to see at least a matte black as well as the shiny stainless ones.

Install was no problem at all. I had some issues with getting it all to work with the bike, but this was the first time I've ever put levers on, and replaced bars. Given that I had no experience doing this, I still found it incredibly easy. Most people should be able to figure this out without doing any research at all, although it wouldn't heard to read a little bit or watch a quick video before installing if you're not 100% confident.

Good buy

The clutch perch is pretty standard for the price you pay. I would like to se a better adjuster included on this model. All in all good buy though, doubt they'll break.

This clutch is the best performing clutch I have ever had. I have used it for a while now and even after wrecking, it didn't break! Such a good purchase and even a good price.

Exceeds expectations

when i opened the shipping box i noticed the packaging wasn't sealed. upon further inspection i noticed that there was a bushing missing where the lever meets the perch. motosport told me to send everything back to them and they would send out a new item as soon as it became available, which was less than 5 days.

Great Levers!

Saved my butt on numerous occasions, fitment was perfect on my 05 YZ125 clutch lever, very reasonable price, I will definitely be buying another one of these for my brake side soon!

Clutch lever

if you ride an 07' yamaha 250f and have broken a clutch or brake lever these are for you. one reason, they will NEVER break again and if they somehow do thell replace them if the warranty is still activated. I broke my break lever on my yami and i went to buy a new one and there $75.00 so this is easily a good buy..... highly recomended

Q: Using ASV F1 on KLX110L?
2 years 7 months ago
I want to replace the KLX110L stock clutch lever with this ASV F1. However, my grandson's bike has a wire connected to clutch for a safety start switch. Anyone ever adapted the switch into the ASV F1? If not, what do I need to do with the wire so the bike starts properly?

A: At this time, ASV does not make a clutch perch with a neutral kill switch and recepticle to plug your wires into. You can run the ASV Lever/Perch without the safety neutral kill switch on your bike. In most cases you would simply disconnect the wires and coil them up and zip tie them under your shroud. In some cases you may need to cut the wire and tie them together to complete the circuit, but we recommend just disconnecting first and trying the starter (MAKE SURE BIKE IS NOT IN GEAR) to make sure the starter works when not plugged in. Please be aware that by disconnecting your neutral kill switch your bike will now start anytime with the clutch in or out, bike in gear or in neutral.

Q: Does This fit?
2 years 8 months ago
Hello will the ASV F1 BRAKE LEVER fit a 1994 kawasaki kx250? I have heard yes and no.. I need to know before I order it. thanks
MotoSport Staff Expert
2 years 8 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
A: This is a Universal Lever set up for cable operated clutch or brake systems. It would likely work for the clutch on your 1994 Kawasaki KX250 but since you have a Hydraulic front brake system and not a cable operated brake on that bike it would not work as the brake lever. There are ASV brake levers that would work for your bike. I would recommend looking at the ASV F1 Brake Lever for this particular lever style.
Q: Is this for a complete clutch lever / perch and brake lever and perch?

A: This will include a clutch lever perch and lever. It will also include a front lever but no perch as they are made for bikes with hydraulic front brake and are intended to fit the stock master cylinder.
Q: Does it come with clutch and brake lever?

A: This would be for a 1 assembly. It can be used as a brake or clutch assembly but it does not include 2 levers to do both.
Q: I have the new lever but cannot get it to seat with hot start lever?
When I put the new lever on it does not allow the hot start lever work. each lever hits one another. I have a honda crf150 r 2009 any ideas, i am told moto sport sent me the correct product
MotoSport Staff
Over 6 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
A: Hard to say we sent you the wrong one with out you sending us the part numbers to the one you received. Keep in mind, they do offer this clutch perch with the hot start included and with out. If you ordered the one with out the hot start, then that explains the problem, your stock lever is on top of your perch and the F1 set up with the hot start relocates the lever to be below the perch so that the levers dont hit each other. If you need some more assistance call in and talk to one of the sales guys, we'll take care of you.
Over 3 years ago Location: Blauvelt, NY, USA
A: If you bought the Clutch lever in the picture its not going to work ASV sells levers with hot starts already on them. i have bought two like this and they both worked great on my KX250F. The clutch lever in the picture it meant for a bike without a hot start like smaller bikes and 2 strokes
Q: Does it come with the perch also?
