Great summer ride

Excellent styling, a jacket I'm proud to wear. Top quality materials and build. I'm 6 ft and 185 llbs. A size 54 is a good fit, not loose and not binding. The sleeves are short by an inch for my tall build. OK for summer riding. Ventilation is good on hot days. Lots of pockets for phones and wallet. Zippers are heavy duty plastic, not metal, durability over long use remains to be seen. The zipper does bind in area of logo, taking extra care to fully zip up. Overall I am very happy with this jacket I would recommend it for anyone looking for a top quality summer riding jacket.

Q: Same size as other A* jackets?

I have the T-GP-R air Alpinestars jacket which is a 52. Fits perfectly. Will this jacket fit the same? It looks slightly looser than the mesh.

A: The Alpinestars jackets are all cut from the same templates, if you wear a size 52 currently then I would try this jacket in the size 52 also. If for any reason you are not happy with the fit, we have a great return/ exchange program to help get you taken care of.

Q: Size Question:?

According to the Alpinestars size chart in a U.S. size I am a 42/44, that equates to a 52/54 euro size, I 'm confused on which size to try. I am 5'8" very athletic build, I weigh 190 an my chest is 43'.

A: It is very tough to size jackets for guys of a bigger build. From my experience I believe you would be a 52 but that can vary. If you went with a 54 i think it may get to be too long in the torso and arms due to your height. If at all possible I would recommend trying this on before purchasing. If that is not possible we do have a return and exchange program. Remember with riding jackets, they are supposed to fit snug and are designed to fit correctly while sitting on the bike. They are not designed to be comfortable while standing with your arms at your side. You also want the jacket to fit snug, so in the event of an accident it is not able slide up your body or arms and bunch up.
