Easy to install
The spring in the coupling came out!! Installed without hope it will be okay
Bought this for my YZ250f. The blue matches really well, it was super easy to install, came with directions, looks great, and really helps protect that front disc from rocks and branches. If you ride in the woods this is a must!
I have a 2007 WR450. The stock axle spacer has a bearing dust cover on it. The spacer that comes with the mount has none. I had to turn the new mount on a lathe to make a grove for the dust cover. I actually used a hand drill with a socket to spin the mount spacer and a box cutter to spin a grove in the mounts axle spacer. Worked well. I also had to trim down the rubber dust cover a little.
Fits perfect and looks great
I was kind of wondering if having the guard attach as a wheel spacer would be weird, but it installed very easily and doesn't move at all once the axle is tightened. The black one comes with a carbon sticker over it that makes it look pretty cool. I like the product so far, and I also liked how inexpensive it was from Motosport!
A little hard to install but looks good and holds up well against big rocks
This was very easy to install. Have not had time to test it out yet in the rocks we ride in but looks like it will do the job.
BOLTS RIGHT UP and LOOKS SHARP.
Fast shipping Love Motosport!
Overall, this is a great looking product. It is impressed with a carbon fiber-like texture and has a great-looking appearance. It is also slightly stiffer than the original equipment piece which came on my '04 Honda CRF250X. I do, however, wish it was about 50% stiffer than it is. I prefer this elastic type disc cover to an aluminum cover which can get bent into the rotor and NOT rebound back into its original shape! Good value, great looks!
Easy to install, takes less than 15 minutes, alignment and fit was flawless. Looks fantastic, highly recommended
Work well but are a hassle to install because you have to take your front wheel off to install the mounting bracket. Also, make sure you have grease when you do it because you need to replace some when you change the brackets.
Bought this product because I needed a guard for an oversized 270mm rotor. It fits well and looks good. Assembly to the mount was simple but I can't say that it's easier than stock to put the front wheel back on. It will often fall out of the dust seal in the wheel as you try to get the rotor into the caliper. Not a big deal but it usually takes me a few attempts to get in place.
bolts up very ez and fits great gives the bike a very agresive look! great upgrade solid product and adds a lil bling.
"everything is great with this set up, but if I could change one thing id make the holes in the mount threaded like the Zeta so you could take the cover off and put it on without having to take the wheel off and remove it as one piece. I have two bikes with these guards and it would be nice to be able to interchange them or remove them easy. Other than that its great. I also have the zeta, which the mounting bracket is better because its threaded, but the cover is just a thin piece of plastic and no protection for the caliper."
I am very satified with this product. it fit perfectly on my 2012 KTM 450 sx. Installation was easy, just remove front tire take out the stock spacer and the the mount in place with the cover already bolted to it. Then put the tire back on. I think it is well worth the money just to keep dirt and rocks out of your roter. It is nice that it comes in the colors you would want.
Installed on my 06 yz450 perfectly. Looks better than any I've seen or used. Sets very flush. Haven't had any hard impact on it yet but I've never had anything bad to say about Acerbis products.
