Awesome pipe, super easy to install, smoothed out the power band on my 06 yz450f, nice and quiet and makes my bike off road legal everywhere, will be putting FMF pipes on all my future bikes.

I just bought a new crf150r and i mostly ride trails and around the neighborhood. I needed something to make this bike more quite and have a spark aresstor so i got this. overall i think this purchase was a great one, shipping was very fast and free, I would defiantly recommend this to a friend.
Looks good, fits correctly, sounds good, and is much quieter than stock without any loss of power. I am using it with the spark arrestor insert installed and am very happy with the performance.
I purchased this for my 2014 Honda XR 650L, it fit and sounds awesome
It fit like a glove, no problem at all, from pulling the Q4 out of the box to finish installation, it took max 10 min.

I have the Powerbomb header, it slipped right on.
Looks good easy to install, needed a quiet set up for meeting AMA sound requirements and to keep the neighbors happy, as well as a USFS Spark arrestor for the local trails. Defiantly a lot quieter than stock, no noticeable power loss, if anything a power slight gain over the stock can, and as always with FMF you can expect quality! Price is good too, if you need to get the sound down this is your best option hands down.
When installing the slip on, it didn't fit the head pipe at all. It comes with a bushing that fit the ID of the slip on great, but was way too loose on the OD of the head pipe. (stock head pipe). It was a good .065 too big. I have a lathe, so I turned out a new bushing instead of laying on the silicone Other than that, I'm happy with the performance and it sounds great.
I installed the Q4 after trying a Two Brothers pipe for a while. The TBs VALLE unit was a monster torquey pipe, but was insane loud. The Q4 is not quite as tourquey, but was a heak of a lot easier to tune. No pop, surge, or mad neighbors.
The Q4 is the way to go on the DR650!
Easily installed,, and it seems to lower the DB output by lowering the frequency of the exhaust noise. Result is an awesome low rumble / growl sound.
I have had this Pipe for about 6 months now and have no complaints. Made the bike run much smoother at lower RPM's with plenty of power on top as well. Great tone and not obnoxiously loud. Meets my State requirements for trail riding. Easy to install ...
This slip-on is extremely easy to install,it took a total of about 10 minutes and that's with removing the stock muffler. Can't wait to add the header.
I love my FMF Q4. Its so much lighter and more quet than the stocker on my 09 kx450f. If i had to do it again I would buy this they day I bought the bike. My only complaint is that the stickers peel off very easily.
very quiet exhaust which is good if you ride in the woods, simple to put on!
Great looks, sounds great while maintaining a very, very responsible decibel level. The main area of benefit is the more compact design. My stock exhaust looked like a scud missile coming off the back of my bike. The 2 things I didn't like were, 1. It doesn't come in Titanium anymore, 2. Having to use RTV sealant at the header is just a pain, the sealant stinks to high h*** the first couple rides as it initially heats up. Other than that, no complaints with funtionality.
I replaced the stock muffler on my '07 KLX250 with this pipe. After proper jetting it really woke up the bike. Nice bark in the the sound and much more bite the stock setup had. It fit up perfectly. Did have to tweak the turn signal up a little to keep from cooking it but plan changing the out for LED's in the future. I added the Power Bomb two weeks later to get more pull in the lower rev range and it definitely helped. Should have pulled the trigger and bought both at the same time. The 'Bomb does quiet the sound a little and makes it more throaty.
I have run FMF exhaust since I started ridding and every bike I have owned has wound up with a front to back system. My only 2 complaints about this tip are 1. My spark arrestor blew out on the trail after only 2 months of use. The head of the bolt that held the screen in sheered off clean. Due to the fact that I am not a machine shop, I didn't even attempt to extract it. Instead I tried turning to FMF which brings up complaint # 2. The tech that I talked to on the phone was no help. He somehow felt that I had taken the screen in and out and must have weakened the bolt and snapped it myself? He told me that there was nothing they could do to help in repair process not even a free replacement screen for me to frankinstall myself. He told me that I should look to get another tip. No problem they grow on trees right.
Anyway, 3 rivets a new spark arrestor and a year and a half later it's all been good. I would have given this a one star if this review was based on the help I received from FMF.
Great performance, great looks and finish, a little lighter than the stocker, not so much noise. Only con: You can't use a clamp, and need to use high temp silicone.
Great exhaust! I didn't notice a huge power gain but it will definitely help you pass tech inspection! Super quiet and is under 96db's on my 2008 yz450f.
i had an older model of this exhaust and it did give it a good power boost but a couple of months after i purchased it the muffler's weld broke off from the mid-pipe
