For the price you can't beat it. It sounds great ( loud as heck with the gp slipon ) gives my r6 a nice deep rumble that turns heads everywhere I go.

The first experience purchasing with the company is great. The shipping was fast in receiving the cat delete y-pipe pipe. The installing was little long but worth it for the remarkable sound that comes out of it. I will recommend this product to other buyers for loud sound to there bike.

It was a little tricky to get on just right considering I did not take off whole exhaust system(headers). Took about 4 hours and lots of careful grinding and went on finally. Very loud. I took a 1 inch wood hole
drill and drilled out my cats as well. You will need a power commander.
Easiest and most afforadable way to make a full exhaust. Sounds even better with the stock slip on. Great product. I had mine Tig welded and definitely recommend doing it that way. Thanks!

I am very happy I decided to buy this m4 mid pipe it's the best purchase I have made. The quality was A++ very good welds and it fit perfect without any extra work. Once I put the M4 slip on with it unleashed the beast it's so loud and sounds so mean! I am constantly being told that it sounds amazing and it's so loud! When I ride with my buddies it completely drowns there bikes out. I am very pleased with my ice . If you want to open up your bike this is what you need. You won't be disappointed at all!!!!!!
This product has extraordinary build quality (VERY good welds), and fitment was perfect. It is slightly easier to install on the older models (2006), because at some point, Yamaha started welding on extra supports to the pipes in the newer models (2013), which need to be ground off after cutting the box off. You may want to source an older pipe on eBay to use for this project if you have a newer bike, or just take your time and grid down the welds. Once installed, it sheds a fair amount of weight (about 10 lbs or so), and gives much better airflow. I used it with the Akrapovic Megaphone slip-on, and it is loud, but not deafening due to a small amount of honeycomb material inside the pipes which help muffle the sound slightly.
I would highly recommend removing the air pump assembly and using block off plates, in order to keep it from backfiring and popping on deceleration. Also, to get the most out of it, I would recommend a fuel management system such as the Power Commander V, and if you don't have access to a dyno, use their auto-tune kit with it.
This mid-pipe is an awesome exhaust upgrade, it opens up the exhaust and with a tune will add a few horsepower.
The exhaust is a little raspier than before and pops sometimes when shifting and decelerating, but this should be expected when deleting a cat and muffler. I left my stock exhaust flap in and functioning along with my 02 sensor, no codes and the bike is running well, however I am getting the bike tuned with a PC3 this weekend to make the most of the mod.
the install is not super easy and will require cutting and grinding some parts smooth to get the fit right with no leaks, I would also order oem header gaskets because the headers should be removed to install this.
the welds and materials used appear to be top notch as well.
The M4 midpipe is of the best quality and design I have seen. The bends are way smoother than any other brand I have seen. You can tell alot of time went into the design. The welds are excellent and is very sturdy. The install requires cutting of the stock header which can be done with a hacksaw but a sawzall or chopsaw would be the easier option. Well worth the time even if using a hacksaw. I have a graves slipon with it and it sounds great. Its louder and deeper than stock but not loud enough to need earplugs.
THIS IS A REVIEW ON BOTH MIDPIPE AND M4 SLIP-ON, CUZ YOU ARE PROB GONNA HAVE A SLIP-ON, MORE THEN LIKELY AN M4 IF YOU PURCHACE THERE MIDPIPE....
I have the M4 Slip-On connected to the M4 Mid-Pipe..Obviously you can go get a MUCH better slip-on out there that produces more power and torque..But if your not looking to get a Full Exhaust YET. I recomend not just getting the M4 Slip-On, cuz you will notice a very slight difference in sound and maybe a gain of 1HP..If you delete the cat with the M4 Mid-Pipe with it, you are saving about 12LBS, It sounds GREAT, and I gained 8HP on dyno and a TON of torque..But on a cool day with right conditions, you can gain up to 10HP!!!..Now with the Slip-On being $239 and the Mid-Pipe being $179..Your getting descent gains for $420..Not as much gains as you would with a full M4 exhaust..But about 75% of the gains a full system would give out BUT a full M4 system is $879-$900...And the Midpipe and Slip-On takes MINUTES to install, where a full system, you would maybe want to take to a mechanic to make sure everything is sealed 100%, but even if you did it yourself, your talking around 2 hours work.....LOL SO TO END MY RANT, IF YOUR LOOKING FOR DESCENT GAINS FOR LESS MONEY AND ALOT LESS AND EASIER LABOR, GET THE M4 SLIP-ON WITH THE M4 MIDPIPE!!!...ME PERSONALLY, I WOULDNT GET A SLIP-ON UNLESS YOU HAD A MID-PIPE, CUZ IF YOU DO THAT, YOUR JUST DOING IT FOR LOOKS, IT REALLY DOES HARDLY ANYTHING ASFAR AS PERFORMANCE AND YOU HARDLY HEAR MUCH OF A CHANGE IN TONE....."
Love the part it bolted on my 2007 yamaha r6 really easy great sound with my akrapovic slip on pipe.Great deal for the money and the welds are outstanding.
