Note for installing X-ring chains: As X-ring chains are wider than standard roller chains, when fitting an X-ring chain to a motorcycle that was fitted with a non O-ring chain as original equipment, it is essential to check that there is proper clearance of the engine cases near the countershaft sprocket and any other places of close contact. Failure to do so could result in damage to the chain and motorcycle and could ultimately cause the chain to fail.

The lightest steel sprocket and the strongest

Superlite is way better then supersprox. I use superlite on my R6 and my Ninja. This sprocket can take any type of abuse, and still looks good.

The chain is sparkling and the sprockets are steel so I'm hoping for durability. The kit does everything it promotes. Definitely an upgrade in acceleration. It does play with the speedo. I needed a leverage pipe to get the front sprocket off.

A: Stock gearing on your 1992 Honda CBR600F2 is 15 tooth front and a 43 tooth rear sprockets. This acceleration kit drops the front sprocket on your bike to a 14 tooth and the rear up to a 44 tooth giving you more acceleration.

Hello I would like to place this order however it only offers 17 Front Sprocket and 45 Rear Sprocket I need to change in the package the front sprocket to be 16, can you help me with this so I can order? A: Actually the 17/45 gearing you are seeing are the OEM (Stock) sizes for your sprockets. As the product description states this kit would include a steel front sprocket with one less tooth than stock (16 tooth front) and a steel rear sprocket with one more tooth more than stock (46 tooth). The 'Quick Acceleration' kits are pre-packaged with these sizes for your bike. The kit for your 2005 Yamaha R1 would only be available with a 16/46 gear combo.

Stock is 16 f 42 r What would be a sweet setup for quick acceleration, street driving and some track time. I have heard Renthal sprockets but do you all have something that compairs.

A: For your 2006 CBR1000RR the most common gearing change is to drop one tooth off the front for a little more acceleration. Some guys who prefer a little more acceleration than that will also add 2 teeth to rear. The gearing is more of a personal preference and there isn't a right gearing or a wrong gearing. By changing to a 520 kit you are shedding a lot of rotational weight from the drive train which will also help with the acceleration. Keep in mind though that a 520 kit on your bike will require more frequent chain adjustments and will not have the lifespan of a 530 kit. The Vortex sprocket kit is a good choice as you can choose either size, either 530 or 520 and allows you to choose the sprocket sizes.
