So Far So Good

Everything came packaged in great condition. Plugs were pre-gapped and all appeared the same. They were easy to install. I put some anti-seize on the plugs for easy removal. Right now the durability is good only time will tell as I have not had them in long enough to get any real durability information. They perform excellent as in starting and riding. The power is quick and responsive.

High Quality Replacement and OEM Spark Plugs

Yes, these are the same model as the spark plugs which where installed on my bike as new. Thus, NGK spark plugs were a simple and safe choice for my application. Glad that was the case as these were perfect - tiny adjustments, easy install, and perfect performance. In fact, when I pulled the stock units from the bike, they cleaned up almost like new, so calling the NGK plugs durable is not a stretch. In fact, for any motorcycle or auto or truck, I would highly recommend NGK's spark plugs - they are used as stock plugs in a huge number of vehicles for good reason - they are well-built and very reliable.

NGK PERFORMANCE

NGK Irridium spark plugs are made to provide peak performance. Owner of 2003 GSXR1K, I can feel the power band in the acceleration smooth firing. Great sound from the YOSHIMUR exhaust system. Excellent choice for an aftermarket plug.

Never ever use these again.

Replaced plugs and the broke off in my head probably about 8000 miles. Looks like this is a common problem and it is very expensive to fix. In my case new head and which requires dropping the engine. NGK lost my business with that one.

WOWWW

NGK cr9e plugs. 14,899 miles and I am doing a change of plugs. the threads broke off from the ceramic body!! REALLY! now I have to tear apart the entire top end just to get it out with a screw extractor. If I went to a dealership it would have cost me over $500 for this...THANKS NGK.

Great product

I put these in a 2007 GSX-R 750 you have to take the cap off the threads to fit on my bike but they didn't need to be gapped. I installed these and a K&N and you can tell the difference.

Q: Which iridium IX spark plug would be best for a early 80s Honda CR500?
1 month 14 days ago
I have a 1984 CR500 Honda and I'm wondering which iridium plug would be best. And I'm wondering if a plug for an 88 CR500 would work with an 84. I use oem spec plug but need a little extra spark to start it.

A: Stock for the cr500 is BR8EG the iridium equivalent would be BR8EIX sadly we dont have that one but NGK does make it.

Q: Is this plug removable terminal type?

I Have purchased NGK before but never Iridium plugs. I have at times received the solid terminal type that can not be installed. On XV750E spark plugs must be of the removable terminal type instead.

A: If you've never used an iridium plug before I would recommend giving them a try. They provide great reliability and performance over your stock (OEM) spark plug.

What is the spark plug gap of these plugs: 1993 Kawasaki ZX1100 - Ninja ZX11 NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs

A: The gap required may vary depending on the bike they are for. Normally NGK will pre-gap the plugs to the correct gap for the plug, but I would have to recommend that you refer to your motorcycles owners or service manual for the specific gap settings for your 1993 Kawasaki ZX1100 Ninja.
