Works as it should, bought a kit to replace the stock plates for 09 DRZ400S has stiffer and loge springs than stock. Clutch pull in was a bit harder than stock but nothing to be a nuescence about unless maybe your forearm strength is not that good.

Excellent OEM Replacement

I've used OEM, Driven, and Wiseco clutch plates. The Wiseco product is far superior in performance and durabilily. I would say this has lasted 25% longer than OEM and 50% longer than the Driven clutch plates.

Wiseco Clutch Pack Kit

We have tried numerous different brands of clutch kits, but so far the Wiseco Clutch Pack Kit has lasted the longest. We have not experienced any slippage with this brand of clutch.

Good Product

My opinion is its a good clutch. I do fairly aggressive trail riding. Used with Bel-Ray Gear Saver oil 80W. Very satisfied with the results.

Hooks up great!

Installed this clutch on the yfz450 with ease. I decided to soak the clutch fibers overnight in oil to ensure an even breakin. The clutch has excellent hook up so far and has about 20 hours of hard riding. Will probably make the season or maybe even a few. I would recomend this clutch to anyone that wants a good setup for most situations.

Quality Wiseco Product

After about a month of abuse it seems to be holding up as well as an OEM clutch. Before buying the Wiseco clutch, I was using the Driven Complete clutch, which didn't hold up as well.

Q: Friction plates for Wisco clutch kit for 2000 yz426?
I purchased a Wisco clutch kit for my YZ 426 and I notices one of the friction plates is different than the rest. Is that correct and if so in what order do the plates get installed?

A: No, this would be the Fiber and Steel plates and springs.

A: No it does not. If it a o-ring you shouldn't have to worry about it especially being a 05, it should seal fine, but if you're worried it doesn't hurt to replace it.

Q: What kind of oil do you soak the fiber plates in over night??

TomCon
1 year 12 months ago Location: New Jersey, USA
A: Use the same oil your owners manual recommends. Make sure the oil you use is designed for wet clutch system. I prefer to let them soak for a minimum of 24hrs, longer if in cold weather, using higher grade oil.
DPickle

A: Same oil as your engine oil, unless your bike calls for a seperate, specific transmission oil (most Honda's). Your owners manual should give you the details needed.
