I put these on my track bike and I am very satisfied. Lowsided at about 40mph and simply replaced the slider block. One of the best add-ons you can get, especially for the track. The fitment was perfect.

Smart purchase

As many times as I've gone down over the years parts come & go, $$$ You can tell this cover will definitely last a few wrecks before having to replace it. The difference in quality when oem & woodcraft are side by side, very noticeable. On the negative side, it's heavier than oem so it adds weight when you want to trim which is typically the case.

Q: Will a woodcraft stator protector fit on top of a woodcraft stator cover?
2 months 21 days ago
I know the stator cover itself will replace an OEM stator cover. My question is to whether the woodcraft stator cover is so big the protector won't fit over the top or if that combo is simply incompatible. I'm debating on whether to buy an OEM stator cover and the protector, or buy the woodcraft stator cover and the protector if it fits together.

A: The Woodcraft Stator Cover replaces the OEM cover and includes a stainless slider plate.

Because of this, the Woodcraft Stator Protector will only fit over the OEM stator cover, not the Woodcraft StatorCover. The protector would be unnecessary if you purchase a Woodcraft Stator Cover.

Q: Woodcraft Stator Cover?
I have a 2017 FZ10 and I'm quite interested in this part. The question I have is about the fitment. I talked to Woodcraft yesterday since this part is identical to the one for the R1M, and asked them if it will work. The person I talked to there said it would not. My question is do you know anyone who has put this on there FZ10 with success? If so, I'm in! It is possible I spoke with someone who didn't know for sure, and before I spend $200, I want to be sure. Thank you for your time!

A: Depending on the model of bike you have the Woodcraft Stator Cover would come in Black and/or silver (clear). Once your ride has been selected the color option will appear in the drop down. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.
