Great for street, NOT FOR RACING

Great clutch for street riding, however after about a month of street riding and 6 passes on the dragstrip its junk. Installation went perfectly. It was nice and smooth and grabbed well. I was afraid the heaver springs would make the clutch lever harder to pull, but i didn't even notice it at all. However if you plan on doing any aggressive launches, it just doesn't hold up

I purchased to replace my stock clutch in my 2007 Ninja ZX10R because it was sticking. For whatever reason the kit had one less pressure plate spring in it than it should have. Called Motosport about it and they were great. Once again their customer service did not disappoint. They sent me a replacement spring kit from EBC which had the correct number of springs. With that sorted everything went right together with no problems and seems to be working just fine. One note-the kit uses a different style anti chatter spring than OEM.

Great Improvement in performance and race launch!

Easy installation! Just remember to re-assemble just the way the old clutch kit was disassembled. Keep things in order and well lubricated. Great improvent over factory clutch. Less freeplay after hard racing. You wont be disappointed!

Awesome Clutch

I had a weird sound coming from my clutch one day and before doing a track day, I decided to replace my clutch for the first time. I choose one that is recommended for both street and track and the difference was amazing. The shifting was easier and quicker. I highly recommend the EBC SRK clutch with Kelvar.

Good clutch

Way more grabby than the OEM clutch (600RR). I'd say the springs are about 50% stiffer, and the plates seem to engage quicker. It's definitely a nice clutch.

Professional Kit

The EBC SRK clutch kit is well thought out and nicely implemented. READ AND HEED THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BACK of the package and installation is a breeze and function is flawless.

So far so good

It's only been a week since i installed the kit. Springs are noticeably stiffer, but not too stiff. (My last clutch had 60,000 miles. '08 ninja 650) Grabs great again. I did measure the old and new and noticed that the older worn parts were thicker than the new! This didn't make sense to me, but it works. Obviously it's not back to factory specs like advertised. but as long has it works, I'm cool with it.

Great clutch

I have 2K trouble free miles on this clutch. I have an 05 ZX-6R and this clutch is great. No slippage and smooth operation.
I will buy another one of these when the time has come.

Grabs alot better then stock

bought this because the stock springs would bearly grab under hard acceleration. installation was easy. a little research and you'll do good. after break in i really drove it and it was a night and day difference.

I dont have enough miles or passes yet to give an accurate depiction on durability but so far this package is great !! My bike has never grabbed as hard as it does now which is AWESOME !!!!!!! Everything fits perfect with no instructions given but a little research online for factory replacement install will do you wonders.....trust me. With a little knowledge of doing things yourself you will be back to riding in about an hour.

Q: Clutch and over heating issues?
3 months 4 days ago
I am more than 80% sure that this is what i need. This is my first bike and I don't want to screw it up. (95 gsxr 1100) it kept over heating at first when it was hot out i would engage first and i wouldn't get any pull. I would get a lot of rpms and no acceleration????? As the temperature went up it became harderto shift and get any speed. 3rd 4th gear are the same way. Once it cooled off i could ride it again but just to get out home. now it won't shift into first at all it will run and start but shut off in first. Mechanic thinks its the carb tuning he just did all that for $700 plus new jet set.....really trying to limit the money loss......

A: It very well could be a clutch issue although it would be really hard to say for sure with out physically inspecting it.

A: It could be a lot of things I would do a compression test / leak dow/ leak down test to see if your rings and valves are good if it has higher mileage I would change out clutch and valves then fluids plug's and if still acting up check your timing and plug spark advance..
